YES You can upgrade for a fee from the SM deal to Prestige package (some exceptions apply)

If you take the SM deal the wine/beer by the glass at meals there is no gratuity added it seems it may work out a better deal for you Do the math then decide

You could take the bus to MSM or book a private tour We used Westcapades

Usually "wine by the glass" are included at meals for the House select or basic package if unsure ask before you order

A few years ago on a Norway cruise the GM told us there were 40 children onboard I counted 10 at most so they must have been hiding someplace All were well behaved as most children on the cruises on O There are some Countries where the parents seem to think it is OK for children to run amuck on the ship So far we have missed that group of people Enjoy your cruise

They cater to gluten free /lactose shellfish so I do not see why they would not for vegetarians YMMV

I would not just turn up on the night of your reservation & expect them to whip something up Just let them know when you reserve the dinner If it is noted on your file that you are vegetarian then yes they may have an alternative dish for you

I think if you let them know in advance they will adapt the offerings for you
