Is any dining on any ship compulsory??

A taxi or Uber will probably be the same $ as paid shuttle I know last time at Hampton inn it worked out that way for us With the shuttle you may be stopping at many terminals before they get to your ship

It would be like booking a flight from Toronto but not looking at the airport code You could fly from YYZ or YTZ as long as you check where the airport is 😄

SM kicks in Oct 1st the upgrade to Prestige package may change at that point no one will know until then In January the upgrade went from $20 pp pd to $30 so anything is possible JMO

Yes many airlines are switching the flight times Have had mine changed with AC recently Are you flying in the same day as the cruise?? You may want to fly in a a day or more earlier in case of more flight disruptions

At $1500 pp do not think I will be doing RP In the past they were about $600 pp it was worth it at that price for us
