  1. @BlerkOne...WOW great pics despite the fog! Just stunningly beautiful.....Alaska that is!
  2. Well, maybe if we keep getting enough requests for the "oh crap" emoji it will finally happen!
  3. @pirate4me2...thanks for the pics of the spa. Question regarding the spa..... I see that it appears that the heated loungers are in the same room as the T pool. I experienced that on other Carnival ships and was NOT a fan, the T pool make too much noise and having the loungers in the same room made for a very loud atmosphere. Wondering what your experiences was here. Cruising HAL to Hawaii in Feb and have the spa pass - 18 days - can't wait!
  4. @tupper10I never knew Anchorage had a port....I always thought it was Whittier, learn something new every day!
  5. @SwissMyst...can you share with us how the weather is today?
  6. Looking forward to hear all about Kodiak as that is a port of call that is not done on a regular basis!
  7. WOW no grass growing under @jimbo5544's feet that's for sure. I agree with you just about ANY cruise is better than a day at the office or on land! Enjoy your land trip and look forward to following your Horizon cruise! Susan
  8. @jam19872016...I just finished re-reading your 29 page Spirit review. You certainly have modified your eating habits since that cruise. One thing sugar is not your friend when it comes to the scale! But hey you are on a cruise so have a great time! Enjoying following along. Full transit of the PC is on our bucket list now that we are retired!
  9. @tupper10...Thank You...BEST thing for motion illness is go out on deck fresh air and look at the horizon.....go to Crow's Nest and look at horizon. FYI Jay & Dee from Parodeejay....You Tubers are on this sailing as well. I am most interested in this itinerary....looked at it for 2025 Kodiak and the other ports are of interest. but we probably would opt for May ILO Sept sailing. Looking foward to following along!
  10. @WCB....FYI Noordam departed Vancouver yesterday enroute to Kodiak and other ports and they are running into some "changes" due to Alaska weather. Have you had any weather issues other than rain? I follow your daily blog as well and really enjoy all the photos etc.
  11. Just have to BUMP this thread.......Sunsetsoon has gained her angel wings and will be forever missed by so many wonderful readers and followers of her threads on CC. She had such a way with words and kept us all entertained for several years. The ONLY positive is that she is now with her beloved Glenn and daughter Aprille enjoying being a family together again. I looked forward to having my first cup of coffee and reading her blog entries over on Floataway Lounge every day. Those of us on her group page will carry on with heavy hearts for a while.
  12. Congratulations it is amazing how we have become a society where we must always follow up to make sure we receive what we are due! I believe I got ours approved for 2025 because our AARP is paid up thru 2028.
  13. If you would be so kind as to post here your thoughts after staying at the Y it would be greatly appreciated!
  14. @jimbo5544...you have had quite the adventures lately! Time for a nice sedate relaxing cruise!
  15. @Roscoe13...you handled that response much better than I would have....2 thumbs up! We do miss our @MeganGC1983.
  16. Thank you I will add them to my research list. I wish hotels would allow EARLY bookings waiting is the hardest part!
  17. All signed up to follow along another great journey.......LOVE your fur kids. My mom was our fur kid sitter as well, always the BEST!
  18. Keep all cruise gift card #s with PIN on a spread sheet and which cruise they were used on etc, simplest way to keep track. No need to print them out just need the # and PIN.
  19. I had to get a supervisor involved to get mine added to my bookings...took 2 phone calls but SUCCESS. Seems like the situation has gotten worse ILO better. My guess is this program won't last much longer.
  20. @MeganGC1983...hope you and DH arrived home with the kiddos safe and sound and you enjoyed some family time as well as football time today. FYI I was watching some You Tube videos today of fellow vloggers who were sharing their unfortunate experiences on other Carnival ships recently. Not that is helps any, but you are definitely not alone in what you experienced. I was pretty shocked at what I heard some of these male vloggers stating what they experienced. My personal opinion is that our society in in a backslide and there are way too many humans out there functioning with a sense of "entitlement" and forgetting how to behave. I am glad you are home safe and sound and I know you are a hard dedicated worker, mom and wife. Please do not let this experience discourage you from doing future Live Cruise Reports you can outdo the BEST of them.
