Am loving your posts TigerB. I was delighted to read that they are being stricter with the dress code in certain areas on a formal night. There’s always a few that enjoy being rebellious….

The advice given is that if you arrive at your allotted time (or a bit before) you should be boarded fairly promptly. They do seem to be quite strict although some have been lucky and got on early. Last summer I arrived 1200 for 1230 boarding time but still had to wait outside until 1229 when we were called. My personal advice would be to only arrive as early as you are able stand outside for.

Good morning all. Pouring with rain here this morning after a thick frost last night. I’m sorry to hear about your Mum @P&O SUE but pleased to hear she was soon back home. Went to the theatre last night and saw Giovanni from Strictly in his “Let me entertain you” show. It was amazing and one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. The live music and the dancing was just wonderful. A long standing ovation was given at the end when Giovanni and the cast (including Lauren from Strictly) did a very fast jive to Proud Mary. Fab-u-lous ! I hope everyone has a good weekend. Gill x

It was just 3c at 7am, but the sun is out and the skies are blue, so time to walk Freddie. @Peanut006 - I hope all goes well for you Mum today. @Beckett - I hope Teddy is now fully recovered from his poorly tum - Freddie has been annoyed this weekend as there have been a few fireworks going off 😬 (for Chinese New Year I imagine). @Adawn47 - I hope Frank is continuing to improve and you are feeling less stressed. @kalos so great to see those photos of you both looking fabulous and too young for retirement. Glad you had a good cruise, apart from the 2 iffy days which sound intriguing, but it is also good to have you back on here, as you were missed.

The bar staff also recommend a warm neat brandy…… much more enjoyable 🤣🤣🤣
