    You can, but be careful if you leave the terminal. Traffic and construction can be a problem getting back to the terminal. Allow plenty of time. I wouldn't plan on early boarding. I would plan on many people showing up before their appointment time.

I didn't see anything in the ticket contract that permits them to do so, though.

    It really doesn't matter, because Aruba is a distant foreign port, so you could leave the ship in a different US port.

    You are wrong. Port charges are much less than $100. In the past, when enough people complained, Carnival decided fine, we will only refund port charges, and kept the goodwill offering.

    Our cabin was in the 60s our entire last cruise. It's been a long time since we've had a cabin that we considered warm and never anything approaching 80 degrees.

    I might ask in a current cruise Splendor roll call. In the past I've cruised on Splendor in Southern and Northern Europe, around Cape Horn, and through the Panama Canal. The "old" Internet might not have been super fast, but I found it acceptable. I just wish they had unlimited plans back then, instead of by the minute.
