Is there any information on who will be Suite and Crown Concierges on Utopia?

Good to see that Captain Johnny is back! As per the list above and X, he is the captain for Symphony. Glad to see that he's healthy again after his bout with skin cancer.

He was our captain on Radiance. Great Captain -- he will be missed.

That's what I figured. I've been watching Cruisemapper and Marine Traffic. We sail on UT at the end of the summer.

Same experience and I was happy with my Cruise Concierge and will probably book again with her.

Hope he's healthy and able to return to sea. Maybe Star of the Seas, Icon's sister that deploys next year. I checked his Twitter and there's a video of alligator crossing their path during a golf game -- labeled "snack time" -- don't know if its for the golfers or the gator. 🤣

The parents of the kid who jumped off Liberty of the Seas will probably sue if the kid was actually served (he was 20 -- under 21 age for alcohol). I don't know how it will be viewed by a court if one of his friends, who was over 21, got him drinks.

We saw Mama Mia on Allure two times. Really good production.

They now only sell the large bottles of Evian.

Celebrity is homeporting ships in Port Canaveral -- Equinox from fall, 2024 to spring, 2025; Apex from fall, 2025 to spring, 2026. Does anyone know what Port C Terminal will be used by Celebrity? Thanks

RCI did a video of Voyager's construction, trans Atlantic crossing, docking in Miami and some of its first cruise in 1999. I wonder if Captain Bang was captain at that time.

That's similar to what I read on Twitter/X. Maybe he will be on a different ship (possibly Star) as RCI requires the captain to spend a certain amount of time in the shipyard and Captain Johnny was ready to go back to work when this period began for Icon.

I think Captain Loy joined Icon in the Shipland in Turku, Finland. If Icon doesn't work out for Captain Johnny, he could get an assignment to Star of the Seas Icon's sister coming out next and sailing from Port Canaveral. I haven't seen any updates on Captain Johnny's Twitter feed but hope that his Melanoma treatment was extremely successful.

I've always had a leather cover for all the Kindles I've had -- I think I'm on number 5. Wow -- 4K books!! I have to catch up 🤣 I usually click on content and devices and choose what I want to read. It's on the website and on my phone. The pictures are not as great as in a real book but I think it's a good trade. The other problem is that I've run out of space in my house for more books and that includes a very large built in book case in our great room.

I really like that I have about 1,000 books on my Kindle and suitcases are much lighter. I used to take about 6 or 7 paperbacks on the cruise. Now I just take the Kindle and a backup paperback in case I have any problems with the Kindle (but I have had so far and I think I've had a Kindle for about 10 years).

A Kindle would come in handy here. Following your thread -- keep enjoying

What ship will Captain Johnny be assigned to. I'm confused about who the two Icon captains will be -- please clarify.

Keep looking -- our daughter got Water Park tickets for their late March cruise on Wonder during the Black Friday sale but during a subsequent sale, the prices went down and she got the cheaper price for all 5 of them. Their week is Easter week -- high pressure on prices and passengers just like August. I booked a facial for our late August Utopia cruise during Black Friday but will keep checking prices.
