  1. Nothing is showing for me via RCI website. Has anyone seen availability and pricing for GS suites and also dates other than November 18. We are looking at December.
  2. Thanks for posting. I hope his treatments are very successful. We've sailed with him many times since 2005. Great Captain.
  3. I'd be interested also.as we're sailing in a group of 9 On WN in August and might want to do a Specialty Restaurant as a group.
  4. Thanks for creating this topic. I research all large groups and try not to book during one of their weeks.
  5. Following -- my grandsons are Diamond based on their parents' status and sailing on one cruise.
  6. This invoice looks like you can change your ship and/or sail date for a fee of $100. I could live with the that because I usually do a change if I find I can't sail on a cruise I have booked.
  7. Wow!! Sounds close to our Chops Experience on Indy. All the staff especially the hostess gave us great service. We did the UDP and made our reservations at the Chops as soon as we got on the ship. I mentioned the service and the hostess in my Survey.
  8. Agree about the view -- we enjoyed Continental Breakfast in the SL with the views. As posted above, we will use CK for breakfast and lunch. We are with a family group and will be having dinner in the MDR.
  9. We just sailed on Indy for 4 nights and the service in Chops for breakfast was great as well as for dinner and lunch (we had the UDP as no CK on Indy). We did go to the SL for the Continental Breakfast and enjoyed it -- great SL Concierge -- Carl Flores. We're in a JS for the August Family cruise and booked on Deck 9 -- one deck up from Chops on Deck 8 in Central Park. So will probably have breakfast there every day unless the Pinnacle number is below the cutoff. In that case, we would use CK for breakfasts (maybe in the SL) and lunches.
  10. We found that Chops was quieter for breakfast that CK and event opted for Chops when we were in a GS.
  11. We're close to the Chops for our August Wonder Cruise -- deck 9 -- just down a flight of stairs. I changed the cabin from deck 11 to deck 9 for that reason.
  12. Or could Captain Johnny be finishing up his 10 weeks in Norway so that he's close to Turku, Finland where Icon is being built? Wonder if he's at the shipyard already
  13. We booked a B2B on Allure from Port C and got great prices for a GS -- about $2,000 cheaper than a JS on Wonder for the same week. They've probably both gone up. If Utopia is doing 3 and 4 nighters, I'll check prices and may do the same.
  14. I linked the promotion to my card and will charge $1,000 on the next cruise that I will be paying off. i've been transferring Amex points to Hilton Honors when there are promotions. I think they also can be transferred to Marriott.
  15. I read a story about Port Canaveral adding the new parking spaces a few months ago in Florida Today -- maybe around 400 And there are plans for a second parking areas if needed (around 200 more spaces).
  16. When Allure's 3 and 4 night sailings were first released, I booked a B2B GS for $2,000 cheaper than a 7 night JS on Wonder. Prices have gone up and I would expect Utopia, if she is homeported in Port C, will be much higher.
  17. Worrying about Cartel Violence. Have been to Cancun and Cozumel many times and didn't worry. But in 2023 Cartel Violence is more prevalent.
  18. How crowded was the parking deck? Also, have they added the new spaces that I read about in an article in Florida Today about Port C and parking.
  19. Has anyone been to Almaplena Beach Club lately. Is is a safe trip? Is the resort safe?
  20. True was pretty good bottled water. Last cruise -- Wonder in December, they had cans, which tasted ok but could only be managed by buying a water bottle to handle unfinished cans. Glad to see water back. Ordered for next few cruises.
  21. As Utopia seems to be similar to Wonder, will she have a suite neighborhood on decks 17 and 18?
