  1. Is 2,204 crew members full capacity or are they still adding crew?
  2. I did that too. I book through the C&A's D+/Pinnacle desk and I had a bit of a wait to connect with the Pinnacle specialists in Reservations but they handled everything beautifully.
  3. It was Lyli DeLeon on the August 21 HM cruise but she's moved to the Suite Lounge with Mario Reyes as Junior went on vacation. I think Elaine is in the DL now. All are great concierges.
  4. The Concierge only walked you off the ship after the self-depart (those who carry their luggage off) finished. On Harmony in August, Suites and Pinnacles got the 7:30 slot and if you were in a suite and wanted the Concierge to walk you off, you met at the Bionic Bar. There were 3 time slots for Concierge accompanied walk - off: 7:30 am, 8 am, and 8:30 am. All of our luggage was in the Pinnacle/Suite area. Very easy process.
  5. Junior Flores and Mario Reyes were our SL concierges on Harmony during the week of August 21. Both were fabulous and handled our requests really well. We also liked the perk of having one of the Concierges lead us off the ship. We have had some not so great Concierges -- no names -- and it does detract from the Lounge's atmosphere.
  6. Comedy club reservations -- sailing in a GS -- you mentioned making reservations for the Comedy Club via email. Is that an email to the Concierge?
  7. Thanks for your very informative post. I have booked one of each for my upcoming cruises: South Beach on HM in August, Breezy Bay for December and Chill Island in February. My decision on the latter two was because these were the only beach where Beach Beds were not sold out. We're sailing on Wonder next August with grandsons who will be 11 and will want to do the slides. Which beach beds are closest to thrill water park? They will be doing the slides as much as possible
  8. I have E-med tests but I may make On-Point reservations for two of the tests we got from Medicare. I got familiar with the testing regime by doing home tests when we thought we were exposed awhile back.
  9. We are sailing on Harmony on August 21 out of Port Canaveral so I will watch this thread. It now looks like our tests only have to be 3 days ahead instead of 2 -- is that correct? If a new thread is started with changes that occur on August 14, 2022, please post a link.
  10. I have read that one of the vaccines (Moderna) may have been tweaked so that its next booster covers Omicron but will believe it when I see it.
  11. I see -- so you have an ocean view even from the second row. Thanks for posting.
  12. Thanks Art. What do you mean by "offset". We're in a GS so I think I'll ask the Concierge to see if he or she can get me a map. I want to be close to the bar and the restrooms.
  13. As we're in a suite, I may have the concierge check where our beach bed is.
  14. Thanks -- I think that Harmony is the only ship in Coco Cay the day we're docked there.
  15. Thanks for all the answers. I think the South Beach Beach Beds have been reinstalled because I'm paying for mine. It sounds quiet. Also, I checked the Cruise Planner an all the Beach Beds were sold out. So I guess I'll stick with what I've already booked.
  16. I am renting a beach bed for our Coco Cay stop next month and currently have a Beach Bed reserved on South Beach. However, I also see that Chill Island has them for the same price. Which beach area is better? I like a quiet beach. Also, which area has convenient restaurants and bars? I rented a Beach Bed on South Beach in 2019 before Perfect Day in Coco Cay was completed and it was very quiet. I also had to order lunch as there were no restaurants nearby. Thanks
  17. We are sailing on Harmony later in the month and I have gotten two email notices so far about a balance being due for my cruise that was fully paid before payment was due in late March. Last week (4-1-2022), I received a "balance due" notice and called the D+ desk who looked at my reservation and the representative said that although my invoice (that she could see) shows a zero balance, my file also has an invoice that shows $50 due. The D+ Rep contacted resolutions and I finally spoke to a Resolutions staffer. This staffer said that RCI is having IT problems that cause these "balance due" notices keep getting generated and emailed to fully payed cruisers. She told me that they have been trying to work with the IT department to resolve the issue. She also told me that my glitch was caused by an item in my Cruise Planner that was cancelled and RCI owes me a refund (rather then my needing to pay $50.) She said that RCI would refund the cancelled Cruise Planner Item to my onboard credit and my Visa (that's how I paid for it). I think the refund has been made to my OBC but no refund has been posted to my Visa card. I was on the phone for 55 minutes. I thought the problem was resolved on 4-1-2022 however I got another Balance Due notice from RCI for the same $50. I talked to a D+ reservationist who finally had me talk to another person in Resolutions. After I held on for awhile, she told me she would call me back once the problem had been resolved with IT. It's been 3 hours and I haven't received a call back. This call lasted 55 minutes. From my conversations with RCI, I understand that this IT glitch has affected many cruisers. They are assuring me that they won't cancel the reservation (we booked a Grand suite and were really looking forward to the cruise). But I want the situation resolved with no more "Balance Due" emails coming to me. I am also afraid of getting to the pier and having no reservation. All of my invoices show that I have paid in full.
