Yea, that priority check in line seems to have vanished. It's now first come, first to get in the terminal.(at least in Florida)

On Princess it's per day, not per week. 😁

The only thing I regret is that they included the WIFI into the package, not that I relied on using it all that much, but it was nice at times.

It sounds just like us. We carry what drinks we want onboard with us also. Why pay for 15 drinks a day when we certainly don't need that many. Same with the coffee. we'll just buy what we want or drink the dripped coffee in the buffet which isn't all that bad.

Yes, I've seen it happen a few times but now that Princess is reserving seats to the Premier package people it'll probably just encourage others without the package to do likewise for their friends. Time will tell.

That actually might work. 😃 They never seem to do anything at the pool unless you actually ask them to remove the articles.

For us having an internet connection doesn't mean much at all. There's not much I can do about any emergencies that occur (there hasn't been in the last 30 years) and I can get internet email at ports for free anyway. As for reading the news, we get anything we need from the TV which is mostly the same old babble every day anyway. 😊

Although I haven't seen it yet, I suspect there might be some people who see the reserved seating sections and take it upon themselves to save a row of seats for friends & family.

There's no problem other than a dozen of more people that will ask you if the seat is taken. It's best to bring a jacket/sweater to put over the chair to fend them off.

It's a good time to make arrangements with other couple wanting to rent a cab going to the same beach.

The seating on the Enchanted is similar to the Discovery. Sometimes if you want a seat for a particular event it still requires you be there as early as possible as many people don't leave Princess Live for every show & just remain in place for the whole evening. 30 minutes doesn't sound that unreasonable to me. From observing the crowd, the majority of people get there around the 20 to 30 minute mark.

All I know is this is going to provide me with pre-show entertainment. It's better than the seat savers.

It sure beats some of the older ships like the Island or Caribbean Princess by far.

He must have gotten demoted. Last Feb/March he was on the Enchanted.

This new procedure made me wonder what good having a Medallion in advance actually meant. Every person now has to check in at a podium no matter what. In the future we'll be boarding without one, so we'll see what happens.

And who knows how long that would take, especially if your sick.

That's true, but now I wonder how it'll be when lots more people will show up earlier then they might have previously?

We haven sailed the Grand since 2010 and many of the problems I'm reading about were common back then. If there was another choice of ship going to the same itinerary, I'd give it some serious consideration. It is an older ship that has some problems.

Clothing is of the least concern. When I told security and PSD about the problem they didn't think it necessary to even report it. Still to this day they don't require a pin number at any of the kiosks which could elevate any potential problem. Many people leave computers and a few valuables out in the open as they don't all fit in the safe. When is the last time you checked into a hotel & were issued a magnetic door care with your cabin number printed on it? Some day something will get stolen & Princess will be held responsible for not doing something to prevent it from occurring.
