  1. Price is per person for the trip (and when we got Concierge to Aqua and I told DH, he asked the same question).
  2. Exactly. I'm hoping that, assuming they're well attended, that they'll resume nightly. Or (just thought of this) maybe it's a trial balloon. If they're well attended, they'll go back to nightly. If not, then they'll figure people really prefer the drinks at most bars, and drop it again.
  3. Then don't worry too much, since they'll probably have the same wines on the next cruise (I'm assuming you'll make Elite after the first one?)
  4. Thanks for this. Great info. I was in Bergen in 2015. We had quite an adventure, including a public bus. Great fun. I'm hoping to see Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, but that's as far as I've got on this trip, since I'm still finishing up working on our Mega trip in the Spring. I'll give you my email address. If you're home, maybe we can have coffee or something. It would be great to meet you. abby at glenandabby dot com Thanks again
  5. Thanks. There's no overlap. We do overnight in Oslo. Would love to meet you guys if you're around.
  6. We can only hope. I miss those.
  7. We usually book suites, but have always enjoyed the happy hour at the Sky Lounge. We usually spend it talking with new friends from Cruise Critic. I'm happy it's back a couple of times per cruise.
  8. Ok, By the way, we'll be on Montgomery on February 6. Although if you know of good restaurants even if you've never been there, it would be more than we know now.
  9. More like a revenue producing measure. I think it's also a way for them to make the packages more appealing, since they include Alfredo's in those.
  10. Would you mind emailing me if you have a chance? I might like some suggestions for restaurants, etc. abby at glenandabby dot com Thanks
  11. On our last cruise, our friends in an inside were on the ship well before us, even though we'd traveled to the pier together. It was Miami, and we had to wait outside for someone to escort us to the suite checkin. Would have been faster to do regular.
  12. hmm I only need 1415 to make Zenith. Here's the scary thing - assuming I don't get so annoyed with X that I cancel anything and I use the holding booking I have, plus a few more PUP opportunities, I should get there by the end of 2025
  13. We're on the Apex to Norway on August 16, 2024 - only 7 dqys, but that's what our friends wanted to do. Then we spend 4 days in the South of England, and get back on the ship for a Scandinavian 12 day cruise. Very excited.
  14. I just noticed you're from Alabama. Just curious, where do you live there? My sister and I will be in Birmingham (also Selma and Montgomery) before a cruise in February.
  15. I think the Gastro Pub as it's own restaurant is only on Discovery. Some ships, such as Crown, Ruby and Emerald (I think all three) have it as an option in the Wheelhouse bar at dinner time.
  16. I've never seen them all post at once, so hopefully soon for you. And maybe another one in November? That would be nice.
  17. I just checked and mine were applied. Going into my points history, it did say 3 from the CEO webinar.
  18. After, on our 3rd cruise ever, DH couldn't find his black bag. He did find it with a group of bags for some large group. That was the last black bag he ever had. In 2015, the luggage tags came off his bag at the Red Hook port. Took about 30 minutes to find it. Then, on the way home from the airport we got a call from United that we had the wrong bag. We were about 15 minutes out so we turned around and brought the other persons bag back and took his. Now he always checks the luggage tag, even though we now have very distictive locks on them.
  19. Don't they take care of laundry, and emptying the mini bar? That's new for suites. Of course that's exactly what our room steward did when we weren't in a suite.
  20. Good luck. When we did ours, (Boston instead of Bar Harbor) we were each given a time to go, which were different. They said to come at the one we preferred. When we got there the line went to the front of the casino and then back around through explorers. They told us to come back in about an hour. We did, and it went from Fusion to Explorers, and took about 10 minutes. We'd had an excursion in Bar Harbor but not in Boston, so it was no big deal. That said, there are around 5-8 agents, so I have no idea, if they board a 11 how they'll get all the shore ex people through. Good luck, in any case, and I hope it goes faster than ours did.
  21. Like others have said, please bring this to someone's attention. That said, I generally don't do room service breakfast, but I almost always call the butler for coffee. At least half the time, they come in with a tray, and just leave it. Sometimes they pour the coffee before they leave it. And once our butler would come in every morning with what we started calling first breakfast - pastries, coffee/tea and juice, and set it up. That was one time. I do feel your pain. I think we had better service when my sister and I ordered room service on our first cruise in concierge.
  22. Here's what I decided is bothering me (not enough to cancel anything, though). When they first announced this, they said that instead of a dedicated butler, there would be a butler team. Seems to me that a room steward with extra duties and a head butler to maybe introduce themselves, is not a "team of butlers". A team would take care of room service, and the little extras most are used to. Now it appears we're getting the same in room service as people paying 1/10th of what we are. Am I missing something?
  23. Glad to hear. If you don't mind, please let us know when you get it. (Hopefully faster than the Ipad came back)
