  1. I went to the page and used my browser's find command to find key words in the question. They were all there. The questions come directly from the page.
  2. I don't know the answer, but I think cruise only means you didn't book air, or hotel, or any other land type packages.

You don't have to click through on anything, it's all on the first page.
  4. I just got the email and did the quiz from that. Because I had to cancel my cruise last week (Covid), I'm losing the 5 points from the shore excursion. So, I'm not sure if I need the Go Green from the rebooked cruise in July or not, since I don't know where my current count comes from. I'm trying to reach Elite + by my July 31 cruise. I'm at 711 now. I have the 5 coming in from the CEO webinar. That would put me at 716, so the 35 from the July cruise would do it, if the 711 didn't include the shore excursion. If it did, the 5 points from the webinar replaces, and the 35 would put me at 746, plus anything that comes this month, so far 1 point.
  5. When I had it we ate and slept separately and wore masks when we need to be in the same room. DH tested every day for a week and then a few days later after I tested negative. He was still negative. Maybe this is useful.
  6. I’m not sure about that. I’ve read some live threads where the author would drink over 10 a day.
  7. Probably not, but we usually book sky suites, so kind of moot. That said, we had to move a booking in Aqua with Go Best (remember that?) out a couple of months due to missing the Covid cutoff, and they wouldn't honor it in spite of changing the port I booked for. So, to make up for my disappointment (not a total loss, as I'm working the California Primary), we rebooked for July with the preferred port. We ended up moving to Concierge (price wasn't much different then balcony) with Elevate to get the drink package. So my question - we're Elite, I'm debating buying the upgrade from surf to stream. If I'm reading this correctly I can use my Elite minutes first, and then switch to the AI surf package? On the other hand, we have enough OBC to buy the stream upgrade and still have more than enough. Thoughts?
  8. Thanks again for this. It was nice sailing through you. Just over a month until our rebooked cruise.
  9. I just got an email from them. When the webinar was glitching I sent an email. They replied today with a link in case I hadn’t watched it. They also said that if I had seen it (I did) points would be awarded June 14. Turns out that I may need the points as my shore excursion points for the excursion Sunday will be removed since I had to cancel due to covid. We’re rebooked for July so should still have enough with the webinar and go green to make elite plus then.
  10. I’m in Northern California as well. I follow two cruise lines Facebook groups and every day there are a lot of post about feeling crappy the day they got home and it was covid. I’m currently working the California primary because I had covid too close to the cruise I’m supposed to be on this week. We’re all masked. Here’s todays mask set. i guess I’m now super boosted.
  11. I had to cancel our Alaska cruise this week because I missed the Covid days limit. I cancelled 2 days before, and I don't know if we're getting a refund or FCC. I don't really care, as long as it one or the other. They did cancel my shore excursion. Oh, well, 5 power up points gone. We rebooked for a couple months later. It helped take the sting out of it that two days before we cancelled, they changed the one port I wanted to go to. New cruise has that. And it also helps that it's the California Primary and I can work that instead.
  12. Thanks for doing this. I'm supposed to be on the Eclipse, but got Covid, so couldn't go. I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself (and royally angry - 7 cruises so far and I have no idea how I got it). So I will vicariously enjoy your cruise. My silver lining is that I'm a California poll worker, and it's our primary, so I'm working this week instead. And we did rebook for July.
  13. I've found that for what we book, the difference is upward of 300.00 per person. I usually book the non-refundable because I can save a lot of money and if I ever cancel the non refundable part is 100.00 per person, so I consider it sort of like insurance, ie I'd have to cancel a bunch before what I lose is even close to what I save. I did once lose the 200.00 I had a cruise cancel, moved it to Alaska and then decided I didn't really want Alaska when I found a better Caribbean. They charged for the second move. Oh, well, I'm still way ahead on everything else.
  14. Interesting discussion. I was supposed to fly to Vancouver yesterday to go on the Eclipse, but got covid a week and a half ago, and was still positive at 6:30 yesterday morning. DH, who immediately moved to the couch at night, wears a mask, and eats separately was negative as of Thursday. I tried to get X to price protect us onto a different sailing (there was an itinerary change that I didn't like) but they wouldn't do it. So we booked for more money but did get 100.00 OBC for the book on board that was on this cruise. I guess it's better to cancel before than try to get home with it. And my silver lining, such as it is, is that I'm usually a poll worker, and I get to work more days because I'm not on a cruise. I'm definitely going to look into the COR. Thanks, Jim.
  15. I got the same offline email. I'm running it and going out for a walk.
  16. I had a frozen screen. Now it's a black screen since I relaunched it.
  17. I agree with some on the loyalty credit. It was part of a good reason to keep sailing Princess, although now I do a bit more Celebrity. Princess has a better presence in California, though. I also have 1 million miles on United, and lifetime good status. I now book flights based more on price than I did before I got there.
  18. And assuming I get the 5 points from this, and the 3 from the last webinar, I will be Elite Plus at the end of my next cruise, with or without Go Green (which I sign up for anyway).
  19. I just got the invitation. 3pm pacific on Tuesday.
  20. I thought the gelato on the Summit (and other ships, actually) wasn't all that great. When I sail with a friend who likes it, I give her my scoop.
  21. me too. If my go green goes through, and they credit my shore excursion that I just booked (assuming the 5 points weren't that), I will be Elite Plus on my August cruise. 3 bags of laundry on a 7 day cruise - woo hoo.
  22. I just had two cruises that were booked with the double points offer cancel. I let one go, and moved the other. I don't think the double points will follow. Although, we did a Caribbean last year - we'd moved it from another cancelled cruise that did not have the double points. There was a double points offer in effect when we moved it. Some friends decided to join us. They got double points, we didn't. It should go both ways, but it probably doesn't.
