  1. Those are not allowed to take OB. 😂
  2. No, that does not sound right. The CVP is Exactly the one who should help you! They work for PCL, who made the errors. I’d call the CVP back and tell them, you need them to sort this out. Since this was a GTY rate, is the deposit non refundable? Sounds like the agent put in the mini suite cabin and called guest services to see if they would honor the mini suite, and instead of ignoring the transaction with the mini suite, they ended the record, which booked the mini suite cabin. The CVP should be able to check the history on this record and straighten it out. They may not have midship open right now, they should put you back to GTY and honor the midship category later then. Are you sure the category of balcony that you chose is only midship and not other decks or areas? You can look at the deck plans and check the decks that would be available in the category you paid. You probably did already, but to be sure.
  3. Your welcome. If the health questionnaire does show up..it will be on the third line of the App …says…wellness check. I say, IF, because recently it has not popped up on our cruises. Also, that email that you received is just a programmatic email generated before your sailing. No worries.
  4. Yes, correct, you don’t have to pick an arrival group, because you’re on PCL transportation. They will advise you about your transfer time. The questionnaire, IF there will be one, it opens about 24 hours before the sailing…the day before. You can check, but it doesn’t always open, as they just ask you the health questions at the port. Did you order the wearable medallion on the App? Even if it was to pick up at the port or mail it? Sometimes, that gives you a QR code. Honestly, you don’t need to worry about any of this. They usually don’t care about arrivals group, QR codes, health questions, etc. You’re in the green lane, so you know you’ve gone through all the required entries. You can just relax and PCL will get you to the port and on the ship! Enjoy.
  5. The zero alcohol package is for the ones who do not drink alcohol or a minor. But, I believe it is very expensive, unless you would drink huge… amounts of soda, coffee or juices. I would use OBC. You would have to weigh the options. Here’s what is included: https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/beverages/ There is also a classic soda package. Less expensive. Note, these do not include wifi or daily gratuities.
  6. Yes, you should be able to, but I really don’t think you need to. You will have plenty of time after FP. Did you try to book DMW on the app? It may not even be available yet for anyone. Sometimes they are, sometimes not, even for Elites. Mostly if it’s a new ship. You could ask if someone on your roll call, Elite or others have been able to reserve DMW yet? We never pay until a few days before FP, as there could be many changes before FP is due. YMMV
  7. Yes, agree. I researched a little and cannot find an actual bag dimension limit for the scanner at the UK ports. All I can find is that you can take a small bag or carryon that you are able to handle yourself through security. I still can’t imagine them restricting a normal carryon size. Please update us. Now that you’ve raised our curiosity.😳
  8. Makes sense. I know what scanner you are referring to, as I’ve only seen it once at an airport. Can’t remember which city it was. But, only a tiny carryon would fit, like the low cost airline dimensions. The 9x14x21 carryon would not fit. Crazy. Would be great if someone recently through the Mayflower could respond.
  9. Are they possibly being more restrictive, in order to cut down on the flow through security, because of the fuller ships? The fewer bags to scan, the faster the security lines go. JMO Good luck!
  10. I just can’t imagine that being an issue. Airline carryon size.
  11. If you haven’t been to Bruges, it’s definitely worth a visit while in Zeebrugge. Beautiful fairytale like town. Wonderful chocolate, etc. We coordinated a taxi for the 6 of us from the ship, drop off and pickup. or there is a bus service also.
  12. If I were sailing soon, I’d ask this question on the UK thread. Maybe more current.
  13. Thanks for the update. Should be good now. You can always advise customer relations, by email, what has happened. Up to you.
  14. Thanks. Looks like the verbage has changed, a little. That’s good for those who prefer a more TD experience. At least for your own group anyway.
  15. They just corrected it. Lol Take a look. They ARE reading CC! 😆
  16. So, your excursion was canceled, not your cruise. That’s not unusual for the excursion to cancel, if you’re just holding them. If that’s the case, just rebook the excursion you want and pay for them or hold it till Tuesday?
  17. Also like your spelling of “prewfreading”…😆
  18. I’m sure it’s a lot more smooth now. First instructions: No immigration, go as you please for b2b’s. Just like a regular port call. Then, at a meeting for b2b’s, which I don’t normally attend. They said they JUST were advised by Spanish authorities, we would have to go through immigration and get our passports stamped entering the EU. This was their first time to require this. 😆 They would notify those whom did not attend the meeting by letter. Anyway, go with the flow! Even if it didn’t flow….😮
  19. Except in Barcelona. We had to go through, as a b2b group, get our passports stamped, then back OB. Just like in FLL. This was at the end of March. They just changed the turnaround rules. Was a mess, because they just started doing this. 😳
