  1. Delete your expired passport first. Enter your new information and scan your new passport. Check and make sure your phone number and all other information is in the personal information on the App. If this doesn’t work, you can go on the website version of the App and enter your passport information there. If it doesn’t work or you don’t want to waste more time, you can call Princess and they can enter it for you. Although, you may have to wait on hold too. But, I’d probably call first thing tmrw when they open or try chat.
  2. Pre cruise. If you wait till OB the rate is higher. Book MedallionNet on the App. It should show your 50% discount.
  3. Ditto. There may be less UG’s now, but the Bidding did not replace that program.
  4. Anyone can use it. You have to ask at GS though. They used to offer it with all your debarkation information, but after restart, you have to ask for the form. It will detail the airlines, etc.
  5. Very unlikely. It is only a few seconds. They would have to be on your heals. In that case, if you used a card, they could push their way in if they wanted.
  6. Remember your keys though. 😂 I have one set in my flight bag and another set in my DH’s flight bag. In case one of us loses a set.
  7. True, but not everyone. My Mom didn’t lock hers one time and it came down the baggage shoot opened zipper and her clothes flying out all over the place. From then on, she locked her suitcase. 😮 Thank goodness in mainland China we locked our suitcases. We were pulling them up steps in Shenzen when, 2 women wanted to help us. We said, no thanks. Then, they tried to unzip them to steal the contents. Again, lucky we had locks on them.
  8. I always use TSA locks. If they have to get into the suitcase, security will have access to it, if it’s a TSA lock. I’ve had them only once over the years open and search. They left a note inside, that it had been searched and relocked.
  9. I have not seen them reinstate the pre ordering of flowers online. It may be due to the supplies. But, you can go to guest services and order them for your cabin once OB.
  10. You can check with GS a few days before disembarking and ask for a form for EX Check. Make sure to bring a copy of your return flight, showing names, ticket no, flight date and airline booking no. You return the form and they submit it to the airline. It is a $25 charge per person and whatever the baggage fee is for the airline. (IF your airline charges you) Not all airlines participate. They give you a tag and instructions and basically you will see it at your destination in baggage when you land. Great service. Not offered at every port/airport, however it is offered at FLL. Add: Not available for International flights. Except Canada was an exception, due to pre clearance of flights. This does vary, so check once OB with GS.
  11. So sorry for your troubles. I wish they had directed you to the website version of the App or checkin. You could have used that and brought all your other documents with you to the port. They do have a checkin area ready to help those who could not checkin on the App on their phone. You can just print online, your travel summary and bring your passport, vax card and whatever documents you need and it only takes a few minutes to chevk you in. Maybe too late now. I wish you the best and a great cruise on HAL.
  12. The answer is…it shouldn’t be necessary, as it should populate into the MC App. However, I check the MC App to see if it did and sometimes, I just have to correct it a little. Not a big deal.

  15. When you look at the App on your phone, does it say MedallionClass App or Princess? Have you done an Update for the App or your phone? It says MUST, but believe me, many can’t access the health questionnaire, now called wellness check. And they do it at the port.

  17. This is done OB, a few days before disembarking. Did you enter your travel information into the App? If so, they base your disembarking time on that. But, if you are self assist, taking your luggage off yourself, they will put you in a self assist group time. However, if you don’t get a time that you want or if you want a different time…go to CS and ask them. Go by your travel summary, the arrival time into the port. It takes at least an hour to get clearance to disembark. Sometimes earlier or later. Really depends on the port, customs, etc. So, if you’re in the first group…you could schedule your ride about an hour after arrival. Carmel Limo probably is very used to the port routine also.
  18. I wanted to add: This was an issue way back in the restart with the App, maybe January. They recently did an update and this old fix came back as an issue again. Just add first and last and don’t worry about it.
  19. On the App…you can use just first and last name. The only other thing you can try is to go through your personal information and see if your middle name is still there. Sometimes it gets deleted. As long as your account is correct, you’re fine. We’ve never had our middle names on our bookings. Never had a problem. I do have it on the personal information page on the App.
  20. Did you Order the ocean medallion? Did you fill out the health questionnaire, even though you’ll update that at least 24 hours before? Did you pick an arrivals group?
  21. What a mess. You just need a knowledgeable Princess CS agent to go into their computer system (polar) and make corrections. This is a website issue not App team. Did you ask your TA for help?
  22. Appreciate the heads up! Hopefully, we will be able to renew electronically instead of paper mail in 2023. We’ll see.
  23. You can make your order, then call RS and tell them to add condiments or add free iced tea, etc. They really should have an area to put a note or add the free beverages.
