  1. I’m not sure. Guests who extended OB said it was about 50% off, and they were just waiting until OB to book it. I wasn’t interested, because we already had 47 days OB.
  2. Not necessarily. You saw 20 open cabins? Well, they may be working UG’s now and that’s why it’s showing not available. Pending status can go up to sailing date. So just keep checking. Still possible.
  3. Sorry, it wasn’t the Magestic. I need another cup of coffee.🥴 I would get to know the DR mgr in each area you frequent, like the Lido and the IC. Of course the DRO and your head waiter in the MDR, so you can order the day before.
  4. If you visit the IC, regularly, please talk to Patrick (Ireland), he helped many guests with gluten free requests while we were OB recently. He’s the fella with the tall chef’s hat. Lol At the IC just about every day.
  5. There are some deals on some cruises, IF they are not full. If you’re interested, go to the Future cruise desk when they are open and just ask. We had a lot of cruisers take advantage of great deals on our last cruise that ended 2 weeks ago. They ended up full and a waitlist was taken, in case of cancellations. You never know.
  6. Can’t seem to find regular whiskey anymore either. All there choices recently were scotch whiskey.
  7. The JourneyView does vary or change a little when you are OB, so it’s just an idea, not gospel. The Patter will be more accurate. Welcome!
  8. It is possible. I’ve never won at the spa. However, every cruise I have been on with my daughter, SHE has won a spa gift certificate from $100 to $200 EVERY time. SMH That’s always on day 1 for her.
  9. They have green apples at the IC and crackers very often. Ginger Ale helps too. Feel better soon!
  10. Go low and midship if you can. Piazza 5th mid is the best. I spent a lot of time recently there, due to rocking and rolling. Unusual for me, but it did help.
  11. This link is a little clearer on the CD. https://www.princess.com/en-us/ships-and-experience/onboard-experience/food-and-dining/dine-my-way Agree, they do not proof their website links.
  12. No nutritional information. If you’re looking for specific calories, you may need to talk with the Director of Restaurant Ops in the MDR, or your head waiter and tell them what you need. They will do what they can to help.
  13. They are about the size of an egg mcmuffin. Believe it’s 1 egg. If you have specific questions at the IC, there is a chef that handles that area. They could find out more for you, once OB.
  14. It’s been an option on the App for the last couple of years. Under payment methods. It is of course, a big deal in the Caribbean, because of so many stores that participate. I’m not sure of how many stores are part of it, but I did see them in the Caribbean in February of 2022.
  15. Exactly, as has always been the case for us on PCL. Or, the cabin steward would make sure we were out of our room for maintenance.
  16. Would the maintenance worker be able to Know if guests were in the room? Using an OM scanner? That’s really late. I’d definitely report it to GS.
  17. You are spot on! I remember the crew clapping, as we entered the ships! The crew thanking us for sailing again and saving their jobs. Of course, don’t forget those ships were only about 50% full. Great memories.
  18. They say, 3 months you will feel like you’re glad you had the surgery. Lol. It really depends on you and your circumstances. I went at 5 mos and did well. It was Europe though and a lot of walking. Sounds like you’re doing the Caribbean, the Enchanted? More relaxing trip, IMO. I would take my chances and book closer, but March will be very busy for the Caribbean. Look now, is the ship pretty full? I’d want to make sure I was doing well before booking a cruise. JMO Best of luck!
  19. Post your question on this live thread on the Sky. Have a great cruise!
  20. Welcome! We have not experienced that on other ships, as usually they clean up pretty quickly in the buffet. I would tell the Buffet manager, who you will see 1 or 2 walking around, about this issue. He should get more employees to help, if an ongoing issue.
  21. Didn’t realize they were doing waitlists since the restart. Did you book with PCL or a TA? They used to advise by email, but it was hit or miss. Check your booking every day and see if you have a cabin assigned. In fact, watch the website to see if a cabin opens in your waitlisted category, call your TA immediately to grab the cabin or PCL, if you booked directly. If this is a guaranteed GTY cabin or an UG bid, then that’s a whole different story. Those can be assigned right up to sailing date.
