  1. Have you tried the visa service that shows in your travel summary? It may help or you could call them. Here’s the link: https://cibtvisas.com/tourkits?bookmark=1&login=princesscruiseline Otherwise, your TA/CVP could help or look under each country to see what is required. I’m sure you know this already, just thought I’d share.
  2. We’ve just been doing 47 days on the Sapphire, Hawaii and South Pacific. We rarely do short 7/10 day cruises any more. Yes, they rotate the menu about every 10 days. Little boring for us, so we mix SD, casual dining, buffet and UBD to have more variety. Love sea days. You can be as busy or relax as much as you want. Plenty of activities. Those are repeated also, for the most art. Destination specialists are good. Entertainment is also repeated. You really get to know the crew, which is fun. We do have some children, but not a lot on these longer cruises. Not anything like a short cruise or Christmas/New Year’s cruises.
  3. If you have a QR code, then you’ve completed your check in, Now, just show up when it’s convenient for you, but no later than 90 minutes before sailing time. No idea where Dec 9th came from! You sail on Dec 10, CB. Just check your travel summary on the cruise personalizer and it should read correctly. Have fun!
  4. We’ve only done it a couple of times and got the assignment about 1-2 weeks before sailing. It really depends on how full it is and how long the cruise is. One of ours was a long cruise of 3 segments and we booked it as 1 cruise, and that one took a little longer. Now, it could take up to the day of sailing. Some have reported getting it a month before. Really varies. You have to keep checking to see if it has been assigned on the cruise personalizer or the App. Good luck!
  5. They are a thing of the past. I wish they would return it to no smoking on formal nights again. 😞
  6. They were going to try to add a glass sliding door to close the casino off from the piazza on the Enchanted during dry dock April 2023, per GS and the casino host. It’s a large piazza and definitely smoke leaked into the area. Don’t know if they did that? Was to be a trial. 😂
  7. When you drop the third…when do you do that? At FP, or before? Don’t they reprice the cabin then? Sometimes the price could be different. Just curious. TIA
  8. Us too, about 10 am. I can’t imagine how long the line would be. What a shame. It used to be the most efficient, IMO.
  9. That’s really scary. Any idea what happened? Odd 2 crew members also are ill.
  10. We did it on the Enchanted this spring, March 2023. We were asked about allergies or foods we could not eat, how we wanted our steaks, etc, so it should be asked for you also. If not asked ahead of time, make sure to tell them once OB. You can just call the dine line once OB.
  11. Yes! You have to try it once. Great experience, unlike the other CT or WMD. Sensory effects are great. What a nice surprise for your DH. We probably won’t do it again, but we did really enjoy it. Unless, we are going to surprise another family member with it. 🥴
  12. LA there was just 1 line also for everyone. This 1 line was for everyone regardless if you had a medallion or not. Long line. Once inside, of course, the 3 colored lanes to checkin. Best to be super early and wait or later arrival and avoid the line. They changed something that was efficient previously. Too bad.
  13. It’s a shame it now takes an hour to get inside to check in. Were there 2 lines to get inside, or all one line? No longer an Elite/Suite priority line to get inside the terminal? It was so efficient in PE prior to their simplified Green/Blue/Gray check in. SMH
  14. We had 8 with 4 on each connecting balcony. Large balcony deck. They did charge $110 per couple. You should be able to do this. They will set up the tables that you need. The only problem would be for you to arrange it soon after boarding, because it is limited per night to 4-5 UBD’s. Some ships less, depending on staffing. Your suite concierge, if you have one, can certainly make it happen. Sounds awesome!
  15. The nice thing about UBD…check on the weather the day before and if it’s forecast is bad, you can change the date. Just give 24 hour notice. We have never scheduled it on embarkation day, as we like to go to the MDR and get our private table for 2 settled. Unless we have reserve class, then doesn’t matter about the table assignment. They will leave a card “Just for You” and it shows the UBD gift and to call RS or 9000 to schedule the date and time for the UBD. Then, they will ask if any allergies and go over the menu with them. So, IMO, I would give them the gift, and let them chose the date and time. I did this for DS and BIL and they chose the date and time once OB.
  16. So sorry this happened to you. I’d be upset also. I would explain what happened and that you want the safety engineer to be made aware, which surely they have corrected this already. Perhaps the best person to contact would be the head of Guest Services at HQ: lwarren@princesscruises.com
  17. Does this issue exist with all the cruise lines out of Galveston, or is it just PCL? Is it because PCL is still new to that port?
  18. Which is exactly what we could have done today! Lol Picture off of the Caribe deck, It rained earlier, but this evening, it’s beautiful in Papeete! 🥴
  19. This is the Princess forum. I think you want NCL?
  20. It is included, but we do tip additional. The service has always far exceeded our expectations. JMO
  21. $110 per cabin of two. Or, $55 per additional guest.
  22. Yes, they do ask if any allergies. You could have filet mignon instead. Or, they can just ask for options. They will love it! It is $110 per cabin. Right now, anyway. 🥴
