  1. Site works fine on my Mac. Also works fine if I don’t log in and search, but if I log into my account and try to search cruises I get this. Very frustrating.
  2. Alesund is picturesque and a very enjoyable port to explore on foot.
  3. Like your mom perspective. Sailing the prima, I felt the same way with the buffet. I would like to experience the ship in a warm climate sailing, but will wait for the Aqua ship.
  4. Did Georanger over the summer. I looked at my partner and said, “this is in the top 5 best days of my life.” It’s amazing. Alaska and Norway are tough to decide which one is better, but Norway barely edges out. It’s amazing. I would do an itinerary that is just Norway. NCL has seemed to end those sailings.
  5. We actually walked from our hotel to the port. It is a hike (2 miles), but it's along the water and scenic if the weather is nice.
  6. I've been eyeing up some of the same itineraries for 2025. I would choose #2.
  7. Enjoy your sailing! We did lunch in Hudson’s the first day too and it was such a smart choice. Enjoy the ship. Would love to sail again in a warmer climate to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Not sure if you have the thermal spa pass. My biggest complaint was having the gym above, other than that the ship is amazing!
  8. So glad to read about your wonderful experience with NCL. Welcome aboard!
  9. don’t worry, I’ve been having issues of logging in too. It just goes in circles
  10. Exactly. They ran the same deal as their Black Friday deal. Which one is it? Make up your minds. 😜
  11. This itinerary is a bucket list trip of mine. Can’t wait to hear how it goes for you.
  12. Onda and Paloma are part of the three dining package. We ate at Onda, Los Lobos (which exceeded all expectations and was our favorite), and the hibachi. Onda included an app, entree, and dessert.
  13. These are all good improvements , especially Syd’s.
  14. We had a large party. If it weren’t for that, definitely not necessary.
  15. We were able to reserve in the MDR on our recent Prima sailing.
  16. I have sailed its sister ship, the Getaway, and I would recommend the thermal spa. It is an upcharge, but I find it the best way to relax as I'm not one for sitting in the sun.
  17. I'm hoping they offer it during Black Friday/ cyber Monday. we shall see. I had triple points on my ten day cruise this year and it's the only way I'll book from now on.
  18. I thoroughly enjoyed the prima. Since you are sailing in a warm climate, the outdoor space will be utilized more than our sailing in Iceland and Norway. You can glimpse through my detailed trip report if you want to see photos and commentary to get a feel. I would prefer to sail the new aqua ship, but I would sail the primary or viva again. August 2023 Prima sailing
  19. May be nice to do the round trip from Rome and have the two days before and after sailing.
  20. thank you. We will do time before and after, but may only be a day on each end. It would make sense to do the Rome arrival and departure, but would be nice to see Croatia too. Appreciate the advice.
  21. I get the offers too and I never use my Amex. capital one has better benefits but keep my Amex just to reach the 25 year mark soon for credit rating.
  22. We managed to narrow it down to two. Epic and Breakaway. Changed slightly from original.
  23. we were on Icelandic air and connected in Boston. On the way back we were on air Canada and connected in Montreal. Both parts were delayed, but thankfully we had a long enough layover it actually was a benefit.
  24. We would be using NCL air if that makes any difference. We flew into Reykjavik and left out of London using NCL and didn’t encounter any issues.
