  1. Looks like we are getting four more Prima plus ships through 2028, which includes Aqua. Four more 200,000 gross ton ships are on order with 5,000 guests for 2030, 2032, 2034, and 2036. Multi pier development at great stirrup cay is to begin this year as well. I own some RCL stock, but it looks like NCL has a strong future ahead of them.
  2. My mother and I have a September European cruise booked.she had mentioned the loyalty levels are just able to book their excursions and we don’t have the option until the end of June. Why does Disney release their excursions so late? I use NCL 90% of the time and they try selling them immediately. I’m thinking of just finding non-Disney excursions to get the planning process moving along.
  3. I think during my trip to Europe last year, I used a pay toilet (still can’t get over how improper we are in the U.S., but almost everywhere else goes for toilet) and cost about .50 cents. I was able to pay using my card. One regret I had was not bringing Euros. I felt like a jerk not having cash in hand for the tour guides.
  4. I was looking too. Any sailings but the Caribbean.
  5. I have started the research too and have been watching several YouTube journey's. Both are a life changing vacation for me. The excursions from the videos I've seen on the National Geographic sailing definitely looks to be the preferred experience. To go kayaking and hiking in Antarctica is definitely a bucket list item. Time and the wallet definitely my two biggest concerns. From the video I've seen of scenic cruising looks to be aww inspiring and provides a once in a lifetime experience as well. The lectures and narrations on both types are something I would look forward to. Lots to decide. I also have the Galapagos on my list too... another big ticket item.
  6. I wish there were more 2026 itineraries listed, but I am going to try and convince my other half on a South Africa or South America cruise.
  7. Has anyone ever sailed their pride party at sea? It looks like celebrity celebrates pride on every sailing throughout the month of June, but have one main sailing as their anchor party. we originally had it booked for June of 2020 sailing the Med and it looks like it is the June 8th sailing on the Ascent this year. im looking to book for next year and believe it will be the similar sailing on the Ascent for June 6, 2025. Has anyone done any of these and how was it? We want to be with the gays but don’t want an all out party ship.
  8. Woohoo! Appreciate it, looks like I wasn’t too off the mark.
  9. Does anyone know when they usually release the itineraries for the Galapagos? I’m looking at sailing on the Flora in 2026 and was hoping to book soon.
  10. Cannot emphasize Los Lobos enough. We did Hasuki, Onda, and Los Lobos. I enjoyed our meals in all of them, but was surprised with how good the Mexican was. After doing hibachi on a few of the ships, I don’t feel the need to do it again. We wanted to do Le Bistro, but wasn’t feeling well the night we had reserved. Next time!
  11. Welcome aboard! It’s rough. Did a red eye from Philadelphia to Iceland last summer and got 2 hours of sleep at most. It’s definitely not the end of the world, just aggravating.
  12. Maybe I missed it… is there only one stop in Southampton for National Express, or does it have several stops. Will be using them from LHR and looking at booking a hotel within walking distance of the bus stop.
  13. Thank you! All paid for and one less expense to worry about.
  14. That’s what I like to do as well, but I’m not sure why I don’t see that option
  15. Did this sailing last year. We only dined in the main dining room for lunch when boarded. That proved to be such a smart decision. The next night we had a table of 8 at Hudsons and it was a three hour dinner. After that, we stuck with Indulge (couldn't get enough), the Local, specialties, or the buffet. The Local on the Prima was the best one I've experienced.
  16. I used to be part of the whole scene in my teens and 20’s. Completely harmless people. Still like the dark music, horror, and true crime stuff, but now wear colors and like happy stuff too like cruising!
  17. glad you mentioned this. I just sold a property and wanted to invest and would love to put some in NCL, but RCL looks to be the better investment.
  18. I would be extremely disappointed to miss Madagascar.
  19. I just began my search for Celebrity Flora and was wondering what the difference was. I see south, north, inter loop , outer loop.
  20. The plunge pool looks like a handicapped toilet. I'm assuming its enough space for 1.
  21. Disappointed with the lack of pools like everyone else, but everything they did do looks appealing. I did like the charcoal room they have on the Prima. I wonder what their pricing is for this.
  22. We have our first Disney cruise booked for September doing the British isles. I’m hoping with the time of year and it not being in the Caribbean it won’t be so heavy with children.
  23. I can't wait to see photos as well. Been holding out booking Joy out of NYC until I see the finished product.
