  1. Jimmy Cruzer thank you very much for your comments last summer. I went on Azamara Baltic sea cruise for 11 days from Copenhagen to Tallinn to Helsinki to Gdansk Stockholm. Wanna move in and ended up in Amsterdam it was a fabulous fabulous cruise. They were only 450 people on board the ship that holds 700 the crew was great. The food was great. The ports were great. I definitely would recommend Azamara to anybody.
  2. Thank you very much for your comments and advice Terry. I really appreciate it fight on Trojan’s Fight on trojans
  3. have you tried regent and/or oceana and what do you think about them?
  4. thanks so much for the single supplement booking information. its good to know that i can still get a veranda cabin at a reasonable price. and yes, i did find the post on seabourn about comparing the two lines. thanks for pointing that out to me.
  5. keith sure looks like you and anne marie had a marvelous day in the country and a wonderful lunch. thanks for the pictures and taking the time to show us where you have been. enjoy the sea day.
  6. 660 March 17, 2016 Scottsdale, i am booked on two crysta cruises now and i had an experience with a crytstal river criuise, which was fabulous and at least a 10 star experience. however, i have no knowledge of these two cruise lines. there are so many experienced luxury travelers on this website, i was hoping i could get some opinions that might help me decide if i would like to travel on one of them. i am a solo traveler and i have always had a cabin with a veranda. however, i have booked two solo passenger cabins with crystal becasue their veranda pricing for a solo passenger is quite high. i know how wonderful crystal is and will be but i hope that some people can give me their impressions, pro and con, about these two cruise lines. thank you

  8. keith, as ususl the pictures are wonderful. what a beautiful park you visited. i always try to visit parks and/or botanical gardens in new cities i visit. i thought you were having dinner at a winery but you didn't mention it so i guess you didn't. enjoy todeay's surprise. and the caesar salad is mouthwatering.
  9. keith, the pictures of bordeaux are wonderful as usual. what a big, beautiful city. i never realized it was so big. hope you enjoy your winery dinner this evening. can't wait to hear all about it.
  10. I am booked on the Symphony for May, 2024. Its a cruise from Rome to Lisbon. Today I booked the Serenity from Quebec City to New York City for Sept. 24, 2024. I travel solo and I've booked the solo cabins on each cruise.
  11. personally, i would fly out of newark because you could get a nonstop flight to phoenix from there but i you choose laguardia, you would have to change planes somewhere to get to phoenix. just my humble opinion. and newark is usually a 30 to 50 minute taxi ride from the city depending on the time of day.
  12. what a fabulous dinner, keith. the food looks great and i'm sure the wines were wonderrul. who's that handsome man with the gorgeous woman? looks like a nice way to spend an evening with friends. the photos are terrific too. did you go inside the guggenheim museum? its one place i'd like to visit some day.
  13. my TA doens't give OBC but i do get a substantial discount on the fares so i guess it all evens out in the end. they always give me the friends and family fares which work out pretty well for me.
  14. sad to hear about the binoculars. maybe i can get the butler to get them for me. fingers crossed.
  15. roy, what and when is your next crystal cruise?
  16. i'm really surprised and disappointed that Crystal doesn't offer any on board credits to passengers. i don't know of a cruise line that doesn't offer some type of on board credit or bonus for passengers. it will be interesting to see if this policy gets changed. and i know it will only change if people complain about it to management.
  17. thanks for creating this thread, Keith. the room looks fine to me. one question: does crystal put binoculars in the rooms for all passengers?
  18. Yes he is continuing on to Great Bratain. How lucky can they get?
  19. Keith, thank you for taking the time to let eveyone know what a fabulous voyage this has been for you and anne marie. your verbal and photographic descriptions are sensational and your great interest in everything aboutr the ship and the itinerary truly are enhanced by your wisdom of cruisijng. this has been a memorable experience for me to follow along with you.
  20. Keith, wonderful pictures as alwsys and i'll take the chocolate cake off your hands right now! thanks for all your expert comments.
  21. keith, i'll take the chocolate cake off your hands right now. wonderful picdtures as always, thanks.
  22. tracie, the review of serenity by the british journalist was interesting but she did get a free cruise and beautiful cabin so i take it with a grain of salt. i would rather read reviews by actual paying passengers.
  23. This news make me very excited. Wish I didn't have to wait so long for my symphony cruise gut i know it will be worth the wait.
  24. keith, your pictures are again just simply fabulous. i could just taste the caesar salad your picture is so lifelike. yes, barcelona is a wonderful city to visit. so many different venues and great reataurants. keep enjoying it.
