Agree with you cruisemom. I’m very lukewarm on tamarind now. It’s up there with the pinnacle. Pinnacle seems to always be disorganized. I really love Canaletto. That frittata is one of my favs.
On a cruise I’m one of those people that don’t do any of the entertainment on board. It’s a luxury for me to get comfy and watch a movie or do nothing. I generally don’t do much after work at home either. The amount of time spent either getting ready for work, being at work or exercising is about all I have time for. Just as I wouldn’t put anyone down for staying up late there is no reason to put others down for calling it an early night. It’s all in what you like to do.
Yes, clearly if you want to stay up past midnight you must be 😛🤪😉. I’m the last person that would ever be called a night person but even for me I understand it’s important and I think it’s very little to ask that at least one venue be open late.
I'm not talking about people that line up for some odd reason. They have a table. They aren't waiting to be assigned. There is zero reason to do that but I'm sure someone will be around shortly with a reason.
Carmel corn pancakes 🤮. Bring back the red velvet French toast 😍. The food looks really good on your cruise. I used to love the Indonesian tea and I really don’t like tea but it always tasted so good. The banana fritters were yummy.
That’s not always a choice available. You have to book early to get that. I have an equal amount of days on hal. I don’t think anyone would think there would be a line up for fixed but there is probably someone.
I wouldn’t know these people from Adam. I’m just not that interested in knowing who the upper management of the ship is. I just don’t fawn over people.
Please explain why fixed dining would have lines. You know people in fixed dining have an assigned table, right? Open dining was a disaster on the koningsdam. Lines half way down the ship if I recall correctly. Knew people in fixed and their experience couldn’t have been better. It’s not the same thing.
I highly doubt it's the way the crew is putting in the order. I mean how many buttons do you think there is? I'm willing to bet it's hals system. Back sbout a year ago hal brought in s team on the koningsdam to straighten out the system errors with hia. They didn't come on the straighten out employees.
I'm surprised about the strawberries. Seems a lot of things are gone but the strawberries always seem to be there. I can't really eat them so I notice them being offered.
I've had people singing in the next room for hours, fighting and swearing like they are going to kill each, loud talking and blaring music off their balcony. Some people were clearly raised by wolves. Good luck.
I agree about correcting pronunciation mistakes. Does anyone ever think that is a polite thing to do to anyone? I know people love to do that. I find it odd.
Those tempura vegetables are a meal in itself! I ordered that and several other things on the koningsdam because I didn’t know how much to order. I could have ordered about 1/4 of what I did. I’ll know next time.
