I marvel at how some people love to eat breakfast in the cafeteria then complain how busy it is. There is a cure for that. Eating in the mdr is just so civilized when available.

There is nothing wrong with a partial transit. I’ve done 8 full transits of the canal and one partial. I really love it but I don’t think a partial transit sloppy seconds. While I think there could be a good amount of kids it’s going to be totally different than a 7 day cruise.

It's not that common in Canada unless you have a card with a yearly fee.

If you want to avoid the 2.5 % look into a home trust visa. The card has no yearly fee. I feel your pain op. There used to be someone at guest services that would screw up my cabana purchase every time. It's substantial so it makes a difference. She would charge me twice for the cabana, charge me for the wrong weeks, you name it. She was incompetent. I can only hope she's gone. I haven't talked to her lately. I had to chase the credits down because they take forever to come through. The debits come through right away.

I have to say I enjoy both. I like having a dedicated space I can come and go to. I enjoy the retreat cabana for that.

To me it would have made sense to do it during the drydock the eurodam just had.

I’m always about the newer ships but I don’t think can really lose with either itinerary. I find them both appealing.

They do a much better job of the halibut in the mdr (or club orange on the pinnacle ships) than the pinnacle. I’ve found it to be excellent in the mdr, not great in the pinnacle.

And that would be great if you can find one. The last one I tried to use came highly recommended by my hairdresser. She took forever to get back to me. When she did, she booked my cruise in USD. We both live in Canada in the same city. Then she did the conversion to canadian and it was more than the hal website. She told me it's not her fault that the price went up. It hadn't. She didn't listen to a word I said and did the exact opposite of what I asked for. I had to wait days for her to cancel so I could use a PCC. No thanks.

Exactly. I did notice early this morning (around 4am) that they had a note on their website to say they were having phone issues. Not sure if it's still happening. That doesn't help you of course.
