I think the open starts at 5:15. I friend was on the Rotterdam about two weeks ago and early fixed was at 5:15.

And for the most part I would agree. The hostess was wonderful on my November 2021 and March 2022 cruises. The one that was on in November didn’t have the same standard. Good customer service isn’t telling someone the wait wasn’t as long every other day. Luckily this hostess went home shortly after I did. You really don’t need to minimize my experience.

Exactly. People love to make excuses for hal or even think it’s their job to help out. One person said they bus their own table and others 🙄. When I said no way will I do that I got called lazy by another poster. That’s insane.

No but they will pass you off to a carnival ship because you don’t belong on hal if you stay up that late 😛.

If I understand your question, yes on the pinnacle class all the cabanas have the plexiglass “walls”. On the ship you are going on the side cabanas have the plexiglass wall and for that reason I don’t like them. I prefer the ones that face to pool because of air flow. It won’t blow you over 😛. I’ve never noticed anyone staring endlessly.

There seems to be a lot of people that work for hal on this thread. Everyone knows there are labour shortages. Just because it’s happening where you live doesn’t mean it’s gospel. Just like various food issues are all supply chain, yet no other cruise line is having these issues. I’ve never known hal to throw away money. Like every business that has shareholders they will try to make due with the least amount of staff.

Well, I find it disappointing. I really enjoyed the veggie risotto so it sad to see it gone. I really enjoyed the seafood soup, and it's gone too.

I booked a cruise for late fall this year. I was told that I got one of the 5 remaining club orange. I booked about a month ago.

I wasn't too happy about it. The hostess tells me well you haven't had to wait a long time most mornings. I really wonder if they limited it at all on that ship.

Exactly, the comments about if you don't like it go elsewhere. Its a shame that some don't understand that if everyone goes elsewhere, Hal could fail to exist. I don't stay up late but I'm fully aware that it's not just about me.

There was a wait most morning on my koningsdam cruises in November. One morning it was at least 40 minutes.

I had several cosmos on the koningsdam and they were all covered.

It says it’s non refundable but others have posted they did. That said, if you buy it, then decide no I don’t really want it but take the cruise I do wonder if it will be lost money. If you cancel the cruise i suspect you will get the money back.

What a great marketing idea. Want to be bored, in bed at 9 pm. Pick hal. Hal is not just an in depth exploration cruise line. Not everyone can do or wants to do a several month cruise. Hal doesn't have the size of ships to support that either.

Yes I have free laundry too. It’s about damaging or shrinking clothing. I’ve had it happen.

There is no bathtub on the pinnacle ships until you get up to a signature suite I believe. That’s where I would normally wash clothes. I can’t believe how some react to such a silly thing 🙄.

Wow. It seems the people that should understand it the most don’t. I had the person I believe was the front desk manager tell me that 5 star freebie meals are only at the pinnacle. When I showed her online that wasn’t true she said that was old information 🙄. Even some of the more junior people at the front desk know that isn’t true.

He quoted a person that was talking about a drink price over the $11 so I don’t think so. And by the way don’t take your dirty reusable bottle up to the lido to fill it 🤮. You talk about me washing clothes in the sink and you think that is ok?

You said there is a minibar in your room. Sounds to me that you suggest people drink in their room. Let’s just close everything and pretend it’s March 2020 and sit in our rooms. I don’t think people grasp that if people don’t like hal, hal will die. The crew will be without jobs, but they won’t be tired, just unemployed 🙄. Follow the chain of events. Like I said it doesn’t effect me, but I do get it’s not all about me.

Maybe they should close all restaurants at 6pm. They’ll pack up your to go box and you can eat it in your room 😛.
