No business can be all things to all people all the time. Celebrity has done rather well with a calmer , quieter , mature cruise experience. I hope they maintain that going forward. As stated in previous posts , there are plenty of cruise options ( even within the same corporation) where kids will have a better time enjoying the features included with them specifically in mind. I wish people would stop trying to reinvent the wheel.

when I was a kid , I liked amusement parks . For me that ship has sailed no pun intended. Now I enjoy a calmer more mature cruise experience that Celebrity has always provided. That said there are many family focused cruise lines available where kids will have a better time . If given a choice would you bring a kid to an amusement park or a piano bar ?

I would have taken a picture of that crab leg and gone about my business.

Some of the bars are empty at times too.

There are plenty of cruise lines that provide the floating amusement park experience. Celebrity has not been on that list to this point. I sincerely hope it stays that way.

Adults only place on the ship. We don’t go to the kids club.

Hi everyone, We have a cruise coming up on the Equinox , Southern Caribbean itinerary on Nov. 30. The offer to upgrade from standard Wi-Fi to premium is $7.00 per day. ( We already have the standard ) Is it worth it ? Is the texting that it allows dependable ?

Spoke to an HAL representative today about repricing our cruise due to a fare drop. She said she could do it but that we would lose our onboard credit if we did. I told her our onboard credit was a shareholder benefit, she said that did not matter we would still lose it if we repriced the fare . Any thoughts or suggestions ? Thanks
