We had an HAL cruise booked years ago , we decided to purchase the Platinum Protection Plan from HAL. At the time I was unemployed, prior to departure of the cruise I was able to secure a job. Needless to say we cancelled our cruise. HAL paid back 90 % of the cruise fare in short order with no problem.

I had a booking without the crew appreciation included once , after I had booked , HAL ran a promotion with the crew appreciation included in a fare quite similar to what I had booked. I called HAL and they rebooked it for me with the same cabin and whatever else was originally included as well as the crew appreciation.

Hello Everyone, We were notified of a itinerary change yesterday, Bonaire has been cancelled, the Curaçao call will now be an overnight call. Any suggestions on something to do in Curacao on an overnight port call ?

Hi Laffn, They have a fairly extensive menu , prime rib ( my personal favorite) steak, seafood , chicken , pasta and salads , all good . Key lime pie , carrot cake, two more of my favorites. Really everything I ever had there was good. If you Google J Alexander’s Plantation , Florida , I think you can click on the website and see the menu. Hope all goes well for a great trip 🚢

If you end up staying in Plantation, There is a restaurant called J Alexanders quite close to your hotel. Pretty good food. If you decide to go there secure a reservation, they stay fairly busy. Hope you have a great trip 🚢
