I once knew of a car rental company that set the bar in that industry. When you rented a car from that company you knew you were dealing with the best in the business . Situations were dealt with professionally and promptly, and yes you paid more than some of the other rental companies were charging but at the time they were well worth it. The aforementioned company has since been sold , merged , resold and what have you numerous times. It is still advertising the same name but that is the last good thing you can connect to the company that once set the bar in that business…….. Sadly , these days , this happens way too much.

May I ask what ship you were on ?

interesting I have looked at some future itineraries for the ABC islands on X and I am noticing 8 nights as opposed to 9 nights sans the port of call stop at GC.

you may wish to price out a suite or a family veranda cabin . some of them have separate rooms.

the majority of the people are wonderful to cruise with , unfortunately you will always run into a few who are not housebroke.

All true. Hopefully the higher ups at RCCL / Celebrity will address the concerns on these boards about the quality of the things that make people enjoy cruising … eg food , entertainment , because like anything else, when quality leaves the customers are not far behind.

The only other choice is to walk the plank 🤣

Not really. Independent travel insurance will provide better coverage especially for medical and emergency transportation if required.

I did the stingray city excursion several years ago , booked through Celebrity, it was great. I did the same excursion last November of 2022 also booked through Celebrity and it was absolutely terrible. So much for GC .

We always tip extra to people who have treated us well, and most of the time that is almost everyone who has taken care of us on the cruise , room stewards, waiters, bar tenders, baristas and Maitre D s. We do this of our own choosing not because it is required. Needless to say if anyone does not treat us well , that would be a different situation. that situation has been extremely rare for us.
