You say that but it is worth pricing it up. Drinks are far cheaper on pando. There is a limit on the package on the price of each drink at £6.95 and up to 15 drinks a day. With the time off ship it mah not be worth it. Remember you can also have a litre each of spirits in you cabin. While I can easily make a RCI drinks package work for me I can’t on pando.

Why not? Why can't people expect to be part of the whole cruise but at the same part be part of a group based on their sexuality? I just don't understand why you have any concern at all. It just does not affect you in any way. Any stigma felt by LGBT+ people is not coming from themselves its coming from others. Asking people to blend in can be seen as offensive. On my cruise planner there was a section about being able to book entertainment from21st March for our April cruise. Along came the 21st March but there is nothing anywhere i can see about booking entertainment. Has this now gone back to normal?

In October we had to go to a venue and watch a film. It rolled so you left when it got to the bit you came in. You then went to your muster station and go registered. Re-reading your post it looks the same as P+O then. We are on them in a fortnight so will know then!

My October ones have now appeared. Although I can only view them on my cruise control on my iPhone. On the pc they are still not there. Booked what I wanted.

We used Allclear for our annual cover after Cancer. The price was the best we were going to get. A lot cheaper than others. Our bank insurance did not want to know us.

Looking at next summer. Have not been on a resort holiday for over 15 years.and there is a little bit of me who thinks time onshore in a hotel is time wasted from being onboard a cruise. However that aside we are actively considering a split break for next year. What I don't know is which order would be better. Am we more likely to enjoy a week at a hotel and then know we have a cruise coming up or enjoy getting off the cruise knowing we don't have to go home yet. The other way of looking at those options is be frustrated at the hotel waiting to go on the cruise or after the cruise be sitting at a poolside wishing we were still onboard. The flight times do make a difference. I can go from Edi/Gla/New. If it were Edinburgh which is our closest airport it is a later flight so it would definately be the hotel first as we felt we lost a day onboard last year not getting onboard will after 9pm. Gla and New are morning flights and although its an hour extra to the airport we are more likely to go with them. Therefore if cruise first then onboard would be around 2pm. Having not done this before I am a bit unclear if we hotel first what time we get to the ship. I presume we get taken to airport after first week and then transfer from airport to ship. Thoughts about this competely insignificant issue welcome!

I don't blame them. They wouldn't be able to get on with their jobs if they were too visible. Too many people would want to bypass the correct complaint process to go straight to the top. Their job is not to sort out the minor complaints, their job is to have in place a system to do that and if it fails to resovle the issue then eventually it may end up on their desk.

Still no dining or excursions for my October cruise. I had a look back at last years cruise and we booked the excursion on 2nd April.

Many people cruise due to celebrations such as birthdays and with many thousands on board there will be a lot of birthdays each day. I am not that interested in my own birthday each year and absolutely not interested in random strangers. Plus its a dreadful tune.

Don't think I would be doing it as intend at present to use my obc for the drinks package on day 2. However interested in the answer. On Royal Caribbean you use your room card in the casino in the slot machines. You can therefore transfer all your obc into casino slot money play a couple of times, cash out and then get paid in cash at the cashiers. Can you do the same on P+O?

Normally yes but in this case. Better than RCI quiz prizes though. We do enjoy a quiz and won a bunch of RCI on a recent cruise. No idea what some of the prizes were for, a rubber band thing with a small plastic logo on it.

Supply and demand. They want to fill the restuarant. People prefer peak time to eat so making it cheaper for less popular times gets bottoms on seats and more money for TUI.

As I understand it I could book the drinks package onboard for same £39.95 as prior to cruise. I also understand I can do this on day 1 or 2 and therefore would either be £280 or £240 (ignoring the pennies). Looking to check if firstly I am correct. Secondly can I use my obc for the purchase? if so and if I buy the package it seems a an easy and cheaper option to both use my obc. My previous experiences on sail days given the time we would be onboard is that financially I would not be drinking £40 of alcohol.

Did that a few times going to Florida. You had to get in early to book the rear seats in the bubble. We even got to use the premium toilets! Gosh how the other half live.

I've seen it on seadays on RCI and TUI before but never on non Seadays.

Where the check in desks were in Edinburgh there were no conveyor belts anywhere near. May have changed now.
