  1. I agree with Jim... I've never understood the reluctance to get a passport. I've had a passport since I was a young boy. They last 10 years and are universally accepted as primary identification everywhere. I also had an enhanced license for convenience sake when I lived in BC post 9/11. Convenient when slipping across the border to shop in WA or visit friends/family.

  3. You are correct. I knew that but wasn't specific enough in my answer. I was more replying to the distinction between Enhanced vs. Real ID. You can use all kinds of documents to fly List of documents acceptable for TSA Driver's licenses or other state photo identity cards issued by Department of Motor Vehicles (or equivalent) Beginning May 3, 2023, if you plan to use your state-issued ID or license to fly within the U.S., make sure it is REAL ID compliant. If you are not sure if your ID complies with REAL ID, check with your state department of motor vehicles. 4. There wasn't any. The medical evacuation at Victoria on Quantum was a cardiac event. This has been well documented here on CC. The poster heard from a bartender who rooms down the hall from a guy who knows some of the medical staff LOL.
  5. Enhanced license is not the same as Real ID. Real ID will be required to fly. It has no border crossing function.
  6. That has been well documented on other threads. It was a cardiac event.
  7. My SIL is an RN who works for California corrections. He is expected to go to work if he tests positive as long as he doesn't have a fever and his symptoms are severe enough to impede his work performance. Apparently the government of the state of California doesn't want their employees to be "considerate" like other posters would want.
  8. My bad, I knew that and just had a brain fart... I had an unvaccinated friend back in Canada that I was talking to yesterday and he is still prevented from traveling and got the protocols messed up in my mind.
  9. We had the UDP on Odyssey in Feb but I never tried multiple anything. The amount of food and drink I consumed on that cruise had to be a personal record. I couldn't imagine going back to anywhere I had already been to the same day. We did lunch at the pub a few times as well. Both were great.
  10. Hot Cider is generally only consumed at Christmas time. It's a seasonal thing and not really common at that. As I love cider I've tried it a few times but can't stand it.
  11. I'm a big cider fan but when I was trying to do a low carb diet I tried to get into the Truly brand... I just never could find a flavor that didn't taste like medicine.
  12. It's an Americanism. There is a market for non-alcoholic cider that I don't think you have in the UK.
  13. I have on a couple ships seen Crispin. All ships have Strongbow and Angry Orchard.
  14. I didn't mean to sound pedantic just to provide clarity. If I did I apologize.
  15. It will never be completely mandatory nationwide. CA that he Real ID license as well as the "Federally non-compliant" licenses. On top of these licenses they also offer the AB60 license which is a DL for those who are not legally present in the country. I know there are other states that have these as well I'm just not sure which. Needless to say, unless there was a significant change in some governments approach to immigration the Real ID license will never be necessary for people with a passport.
  16. I am not a citizen yet and I have real ID. You just have to prove lawful presence.
  17. The information you can get from cruise critic vastly exceeds the knowledge of almost any CS reps you would get by calling the toll free line.
