  1. Real ID is not the same as an enhanced license. OP has Real ID not the enhanced license program. Also, I think you are mistaken, Virginia does not offer an enhanced license, at least according to Wikipedia they don't. Real ID has no border crossing privilege. I have licenses in both BC Canada, and CA USA. My BC license is an enhanced. My CA license is Real ID. I'm pretty familiar with both programs.
  2. I'm not so sure about that... The most recent significant change, the 4/5/6 drink vouchers, is a significant improvement to the program. Instead of crummy wine and a limited selection beers you can now get almost anything you want, whenever you want.
  3. Enhanced licenses cannot be used as a replacement for a passport except crossing at land borders. Real ID and enhanced licenses are different programs. For a closed loop cruise you would still need a birth certificate. Real ID isn't required for flights until May 2023. Were you trying to board with your Real ID without a BC?
  4. https://www.amazon.com/Vaccination-Immunization-Protector-Waterproof-Resealable/dp/B092VF6HQ3/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3RO2WJMQPCI0I&keywords=covid+card+sleeve&qid=1654526836&sprefix=%2Caps%2C13216&sr=8-5
  5. I understand not wanting to wear the uniform. However, I always wear at least a button down, long sleeve shirt and dress pants to the MDR every night. On formal nights it is a dark suit, white shirt and tie. I bring one 26" regular suitcase and one 20" carry-on and always have more than enough room for everything I need for at least 10 days. I've never understood the luggage problem people talk about. Are folks really going on vacation for a week with just a carry-on? Is a $30 bag fee that cost prohibitive when viewed across the total price of the trip?
  6. Now that you say that, I remember when looking into it the VT and VP and they had very different layouts. The VT was bigger if I remember right.
  7. It was too long ago to remember (April 2021, I think). I've slept to too many times since then.
  8. When I booked ours it was only $50 more than a JS
  9. I've got one on Navigator booked in Jan next year as a refundable. We had a similar cabin on Serenade (it is side facing instead of front facing) last August and really enjoyed it. The floor to ceiling windows made for great viewing. With the cooler weather in Alaska we didn't miss having a balcony. We'll see how we like it for a Mexican Riviera cruise
  10. What's the over/under on the day number that the first of the four is tossed off said balcony.
  11. Except the data says they don’t. Hong Kong had one of the highest mask compliance ratios but still suffered one of the worst outbreaks.
  12. Take it up with The NY Times. It’s their chart. Funny how the only data that is inaccurate is data that doesn’t advance a specific narrative.
  13. Not a dumb question at all. Royal's description in the cruise planner is unnecessarily ambiguous. I'm sure many people buy more than they need because of it.
  14. The one time I tried to cancel when I was onboard I was told I was too late as they require 48 hours notice. I told the Shorex dept that I still wanted to cancel as I didn't want the others to be waiting around for two people who were never going to show up.
  15. I haven't had many price drops especially since I often book my TA's group rates. Those are usually rock Botton strait out of the gate.
  16. The highlighted portion is the very definition of an anecdote. The science says you are wrong.
  17. I follow a guy on twitter who was posting from inside. He's an American working there. His pictures of his daily food deliveries where awe inspiring. He had an audio recording people singing. Everybody just emanating love, hope and compliance.
  18. Calling all medical geniuses @not-enough-cruising, calling all medical geniuses @not-enough-cruising. Code green, Code green.
  19. Look how well China has managed things. They locked down 25,000,000 people in Shanghai for 2 months. For 2 months they couldn't leave their apartments. Two days ago the people were allowed to be free ,to walk around their city. Covid Zero is the most noble goal.
  20. If you really cared about people you would test twice a day, everyday for ten days post cruise and wear your mask for fourteen days. I can't believe that you would walk around for 4 days potentially spreading a very, very deadly virus that could kill someone. Who cares if they are boarding a cruise or not!
  21. We were on Odyssey over Valentines day. We were able to use our UDP at every restaurant except Chops on that night.
  22. Yes you can get bottles with the RP. Reports are mixed with the cans of water. Sometimes you get plastic bottles, sometime you get the cans.
