Thanks for the pictures, but I would rather have a stop at an island with real people, real culture and real local restaurants and local food...not an Americanized fake town or island. Years ago, probably close to 40, on an NCL cruise, we stopped at an NCL "island". It was so boring. Just another beach. A wasted day. Maybe coming from SE Florida, growing up and going to the beach at least twice a week or more, all this beach stuff is old news. Totally understand for those without that history or advantage this option would be attractive, but wouldn't want your cruise dollars spent on a REAL island with real locals, etc.?
