  1. Call 1 (800) 760-0654. It’s the Capt Club number and they’ll help get your BAC OBC applied to your cruise. I always end up calling too.
  2. You may still need to be tested. Check out the Celebrity website.
  3. At a Glance Beginning with departures on November 2, 2022: All travelers, regardless of vaccination status, are welcome to cruise with us and will no longer be required to provide proof of pre-departure testing, except for specific sailings where vaccination or testing are required by law. Exceptions currently include: Bermuda Itineraries Galapagos Itineraries Australia New Zealand Itineraries Transatlantic/Transpacific Crossings Select Caribbean Itineraries (those visiting Labadee and Grand Turk) Select Central and South America Itineraries (those visiting Roatan and Cartagena) Please visit our Country Travel Requirements for more information regarding your cruise vacation.
  4. The article on Cruisehive.com shows Royal Caribbean International, not Group. So, at least for the moment, Celebrity isn’t part of the announcement. It only impacts RCL cruises.
  5. I like your recommendation too. I’ll check it out! As for mine, I bring along two of these plugs. Depending on how the outlets are situated in the stateroom, I can get six items, at a minimum, plugged in at once. Never needed that many, but if I did……
  6. Agreed. Sometimes they just ask for cabin number, which presumably they use to check your drink package and if both of you have one. I believe that’s a carryover from when no one wanted to touch anyone’s seapass.
  7. If I am getting a drink for me and my DH, the bartender asks for both sea passes.
  8. Thanks. It wasn’t clear to me the significance but now I understand.
  9. We did Antarctica on the Eclipse in Feb 2020 and it was epic! Followed up with a B2B to Brazil, in time for Carnaval. Returned to USA early March, just as Covid was impacting travel and the world. Friends stayed on board for the next two cruises, the itineraries of each were cancelled. They never got off the ship until Eclipse returned to San Diego.
  10. Is the OBC showing up in your account already for your 2023 and 2024 cruises? Either way, I’ll be submitting requests shortly! Thanks for the response.
  11. Captain? And it’s Jamaica 🙃
  12. So, if I’m reading your comment correctly, you applied for and received the RCCL stockholder credit for cruises into 2024. I usually make the request about 3-4 weeks in advance of a cruise. I am surprised they would grant the OBC going out 2 years, basing it upon your current stock holding. What if you were to sell between now and when the cruise takes place?
  13. Same problem all day today, a Saturday 10/8.
  14. The above post about the testing site at Rome FCO is a great option. We registered in advance and were finished within 20 minutes.
  15. Both houses, Ford and Edison, survived the storm!
  16. 9? Isn’t it 10 or more nights? Plus if you’re vaxxed, self test ok for 10 or more nights. If not vaxxed, you must test, regardless of number of nights. If vaxxed and 9 or less nights, no testing needed. I think I’m reading the protocols correctly.
  17. And sensitive to bleach too.
