Relaxing in the garden where it is sunny and 66°F. Pauline said yesterday was 6 years since we were at our Queen's Royal Garden Party

Our insurer who we had for 10 years when we phoned to say I had a minor heart attack immediately cancelled our policy and said I wouldn't have been covered if we hadn't rang them. Fortunately there are a few medical insurers who will insure you but at a premium. I'm pleased you seem to be getting something done Pam and pray everything works out well for you. Graham x.

Nice earner for the dentist/hygienist for 10 minutes work in total. It makes you wonder how many times you have paid for the hygienist when it was not necessary.

Thank you Kalos I will do that next time. We never use our house phone so when it rings it's usually a scam. Pauline says to them How do you sleep at night when you are scamming people? and puts the phone down. My late mam kept a whistle next to the phone and if it wasn't family she would blow the whistle into the phone speaker.

Our dentist like most up here have gone private at Short Notice. It used to cost about £26 for a check up and hygienist on the NHS which you are entitled to them both. It is now £60 for the check up and an additional £60 for the hygienist. If your dentist is still NHS I would get a hygienist appointment as it was not your fault the hygienist was off as it is included in the NHS prices.

I never reply either. The bank app notifications on my phone in a few seconds of money in or out is great for security.

My bank always warn about scams and also provide the last 4 numbers of my account and my name when contacting me online. It is 13°C and sunny and I have my shorts and tee shirt on outside.

As Sue @sgmn said the minimum wage is law in the UK. The majority of us in England tip in restaurants, hairdresser's/barbers and taxis. The norm is 5-10% of our bill. Some restaurants put a 10% courtesy gratuity on your bill and when paying by credit card the option is there to add a gratuity or not. All of the servers prefer cash tips because it can take a month or two for credit card tips to filter down to them. On board I personally cash tip on top of our autogratuities and always in the speciality restaurants and to our cabin steward. I always give $1 cash tip per drink on our D+ free drinks.

This was 4 weeks after my heart attack in January 17th 2020.

Thank you Sandi. We have been to the fabulous Hotel Vincci Aleysa on the promenade of Benalmadena 15 times and we have brought our Sarah and a friend 6 times. This has been a pre cruise hotel a couple of times when sailing from Malaga. We always get Sarah a garden view room which has a patio and grassed area for sunbathing and we are on the floor above which has Fantastic views of the beach and the Mediterranean sea.

Good evening. It has been sunny most of the day with a high of 65°F. I took Pauline to meet her best friend this morning at the local shopping outlet and I had a quiet day watching TV. I hope everyone is having a great day.
