Whew you made it through. The other night I changed my 11am flight from Seattle to SA to 1:30pm to Austin. I decided I just couldn't spend 7 cruising days worrying about it which I would have. Definitely want to do the ABC itinerary and still have to make a cruise out of NY happen and that's the end of my list. I did lock in 2 nights already. It really was a crazy steal at $15 so today's pricing is fine. We don't do the steakhouse so just might end up doing 3 nights also. I had been avoiding the MDR last 2 Carnival cruises but the new menus and the food lately looks good.

I'm really hoping nothing changes about JiJis before I get there next year. Well except the price, totally expect that lol. I spy something I haven't tried, those delectable looking little pouches 👀

Glad to see another person that likes the Jade. I really like the big ships so was concerned about booking the Jade which would be my smallest ship to date. But I have read numerous reports and everyone seemed to enjoy and love it.

For sure considering both Prima and Viva. Been a while since we cruised out of Galveston. I'm beginning to really dislike flying. Finally husband will have enough vacation time to take 3 cruises next year. Already have Vista for March booked so Prima would have to be near beginning of year or May or August for a holiday extra day. Just can't bring myself to book 2026, just too far out for my sanity. Already regretting booking March 2025. But it was a good offer I prob won't get again and it's husband's bday. I haven't even told him yet because if something better comes up I will scrap it and just lose the small deposit. I seen to have a bad habit of doing that lol.

I'm booked on the Vista on Deck 6 in one of those cabins next year. Did your cabin have a sofa? Was it quiet? I was concerned being close to kids stuff. Usually pick as far aft as I can get for quiet, never stayed up front.

Ahhhh I see, should have known only gamblers get comp cabins☹️ It's still a good perk to get to splurge on a new cabin type. I think I would like a Havana Cabana if I could splurge😁

That is pretty crazy. Not that I will likely ever hit 25 cruises on one cruise line, is the diamond big cruise a free cruise? Besides the normal fees and such. Do you get to pick any cruise or are there restrictions?

Dang finally caught up after a hellish work week. Now I see why people love the ABC itinerary, it's fabulous! I liked seeing the caves, the ostriches, the flamingos and the beautiful scenery. Your pics of the sunsets with the sun as a red ball are gorgeous. Never thought about renting a car but I like the idea of having a/c, definitely the way to go. I would have been one of those people getting a golf cart lol.

JiJis how I miss you, been a long time. Made wanna be JiJis for dinner, beef stir fry and orange chicken. Spoiler alert it didn't compare. But I did hand roll and freeze 4 dozen spring rolls and they do compare😁

This is what I have been waiting for! Will be on the Encore in a few weeks on my first Alaska cruise so am looking forward to any and all info.

Had one of those on Panorama. Favorite cabin so far, separate and quiet hallway, lots of room and having a sofa was convenient. I always try to book aft but next years Vista cruise I have one of those 4J cabins booked, I usually forget to look for them. The description says it has a sofa so hoping that's true.

Oh I know that scenario well. I have been trying to book Sunday-Sunday or with a national holiday on the front or back end to avoid this issue. Southwest used to have later evening flights like at 9 but now I'm lucky to find anything later than 5 or 6.

My August cruise got these same changes, this is the second time I have had Key West dropped☹️

I can't believe Alaska airlines couldn't have scheduled this flight accordingly given it's Alaska cruise season lol.

I had hoped to use this service for next months Alaska cruise only to find out today my flight does not meet the requirements. My flight is at 10:58 am two minutes short of the required flight time of 11 am. I guess it's prob for the best that I should book a later flight anyways.

Thank you for the review. We will be on the Jade in August and I'm still a bit concerned because this will be the smallest ship we have ever sailed on. I'm hoping there's enough to keep us occupied and we will do excursions at each port for sure. I booked Moderno and from your pics it looked like you had dessert. Is dessert included with the meal?

Glad it worked out, enjoy your cruise🙂 Just to let you know for in the future in case you are interested My Vegas also periodically offers comp NCL cruises. Unlike the money off rewards like the one you used the comp cruise rewards charge an administration fee of $20 per person per day in addition to the other standard fees.

Not sure what happened with your booking but I have taken many cruises using the My Vegas rewards with no issues or complaints. I have used the $750 off NCL on three bookings with no issues or complaints. Calling to book was simple, no upsells and quick and easy. The prices I booked at were the prices I saw online, exactly to the penny. My last booking the inside cabins were showing only guarantee available but the rep left me pick a cabin, that was very helpful. These rewards have been great, especially since on my 3 bookings me and my husband were both able to use the $750 off saving $1500 right off the bat.

Menu from Celebration last September. There were a few things on the menu that I normally wouldn't eat but I was determined to try everything. There was only one thing I didn't like, the mushroom appetizer.
