  1. I was on the cruise with you. Cruising is back - near full capacity - no Covid restrictions. It was great, but it did make me have fond memories of a Jan. 2022 Regal cruise with 800 people - that seemed like we were on private yacht. The only problem we had this trip was trying to get off the ship in Ft. Lauderdale. We always self disembark. I have never had this issue before, but we could not get an elevator at 7:30 a.m. Two of the four forward elevators were "reserved" and not available for use. After 15 minutes of waiting on the other two, which were always full of people riding up to the top with their luggage just to go down, we decided to try the midship elevators. Two of the six were also reserved - the other four were always full. After 15 minutes, we gave up and carried our luggage down from deck 15 to deck 6. After that we were in a cab to the airport in less than 10 minutes.
  2. I had this last week as a starter. Ate every bit of it. Then used a dinner roll to sop up the sauce. They did not even need to wash that plate.
  3. Book the Embassy Suite yourself. It has gotten expensive - over $220 a night last week booked through Expedia. We took a cab from the airport, $20, and an Uber to the ship, $7 plus $5 tip. The hotel shuttle vans are charging $12 per person.
  4. Both are great trips. Alaska for the scenery and excursions - the helicopter to the glaciers was great. New England / Canada for the history.

  7. Haven't been to New Zealand yet. Several trips up front through the Caribbean, with a few storms with swells, had some rocking, but sleep like a baby. It makes you feel like you are on a ship.
  8. Agree Completely. We enjoy the forward facing corner cabins. The CC dining is a perk for the cabin. We were able to get one of the corner cabins on the Majestic for a b2b2b out of Sydney in Jan 2024. The extra room was a plus for us on this 36 day trip. We figured that if we are going that far, we might as well stay a while.
  9. I just came off the Caribbean Princess in Quebec last week after a 13 day New England / Canada cruise. ArriveCAN was checked at boarding, but if you didn't have it you still were allowed on board. About 3 days later, a session was held in one of the lounges to help people who were having problems with the app. I had completed ArriveCAN before I boarded, but it was also checked by my Cabin Steward a couple of days later, who marked my name off his list. We made four stops in Canada and no one else ever asked for it. We did have to complete a Canadian Customs form before our first stop.
