That was very nice of you. I did something similar for different crew members on some of our first restart cruises. They were over the moon when I would come back from port with items they mentioned they were missing.

I don't mind flying but I hate all the stuff you go thru such as arrive 2 hrs early, tsa, pick up luggage at carousel, etc etc On the booking we did the other day with American the price difference was only $110 pp so that made sense to book FC to avoid paying extra for our luggage.

Yes, that is a thoughtful gift. During the restart of cruising alot of passengers were bringing crew various items they couldn't get onboard.

They say once you fly FC it's tough go back....so true. I definitely enjoy the cocktail pre-flight as well as the luggage benefit. I hate paying for luggage as much as I hate paying for parking at airport or cruise ports.

We fly first class when it makes sense and the price is decent. Eric is 6'2" and I cannot stand 3 seat configurations and being stuck in the middle. If we don't fly FC then we either buy a 3rd ticket to avoid having to be crammed or we make sure to have priority boarding and we each get an isle seat.

DH and I are both Prime, have been for several years now, offers are pretty lame so far this prime year. Our latest one for a balcony with $150 free play is probably the best we have both received in a while. Unfortunately, majority of the sailings are 3 to 5 night cruises out of FL that won't work for us. Wish I could book for Anthem Nov or Dec 7 nighter from offer but work schedule won't allow me to take off since we have a 12 nighter booked on Serenade for September and an 11 nighter booked on Anthem for January. Darn work - LOL!

Yes, very sad for those impacted about 10 minutes away from where we live. They say we had approx. 6 to 7 inches of rain in a 45 minute period! That's insane. Thank god we were home when it happened as we frequently travel the road near the creek where this happened. Our neighborhood street had a steady stream of water rushing down it, never seen that much on our street. our yard is saturated and it's been raining on and off all morning with heavy rains expected again this afternoon. There is no where for all this water to go, everything is saturated. Thank god we were home when it happened as we frequently travel the road near the creek where this happened. 3 or 4 cars swept away, 4 people dead and 3 missing people including a 2 yr old girl and a 9 month old baby (their vehicle was empty when they found it about 1.5 miles from where it was swept away from). They have had over 100 people searching since last night. 🙏🙏🙏
