  1. Just like every other business in the USA. About time.
  2. In general if you are in a suite you cannot order from the Luminae menu or MDR menu for delivery. But ask your butler. Sometimes exceptions are made.
  3. Chips in individual sealed bags- yes please. Chips in an open bowl in the buffet or at a bar - no thanks,
  4. OP mentioned Old Fashioned as one of the go to drinks. The WCB has the Ron Zacapa Old Fashioned on the menu and it is delicious.
  5. We like the World Class Bar and it is usually pretty quiet. But it only has a specialty drink menu. The Old Fashioned is my favorite there.
  6. It would be helpful to know which ship you will be on. - Sorry just saw Solstice in the title.
  7. Responding to the title of your thread? --- and Ducking.
  8. You will pay for bottles of champagne if you order them - but perhaps some brands are included in upper level suites (above SS and CS). The butler will arrange for appetizers and light snacks for your get together with similar items to what you would find in the Retreat. We have never been charged for this. If you order anything special (other than the room service menu) you might get charged.
  9. If close, there might be good reasons to get to D+ on RCCL, regardless of your matching status with Celebrity.
  10. Yes everybody has a tier if part of Captains Club.😃
  11. Trivia in Blu? Do you play on teams? Just kidding - I know it was a typo!😃
  12. Actually I would bet that all of us frequent cruisers have at least one (if not many) stories of people on surrounding balconies (including above and below) smoking illegally on a cruise. I have run into this frequently - but admittedly less in recent years. It is annoying. So is playing loud music on your balcony. It is all about common courtesy to those around you. Perhaps akin to those with COVID-like symptoms reporting to medical vs walking around the ship and coughing everywhere. It is too bad that people cannot be just good cruise citizens. But why should we expect that these days!
  13. Never had the issue that our request with the SS Concierge was not fulfilled. Yes the butler is always helpful.
  14. Yes our experience too. I'm not sure if the OP actually meant the actual cabin Celebrity Suite (CS) or just the general term meaning all types of suites. Anyway, CS and above usually get contacted. Sky suites do not.
  15. Lots of places have legal marijuana edibles. No smoking required even if a medical need.
  16. Many older and/or at risk people would have a number of these conditions or be taking these type of common drugs.
  17. But you also need to have a documented positive test for the current ongoing COVID infection too. At least for the pharmacy-only program. Of course you could get tested at the same pharmacy. Actually in any scenario, if I had symptoms and tested positive, I would call my physician and discuss the situation and get a prescription if they agreed. No need to go around the system. My physician has all of my medical records and recent blood work. And knows what other drugs I am taking and what my other health conditions are.
  18. As for Luminae costs, they can work it out between them with the other couples. Unless they want to pay which is fine too. The other couples can reimburse them or pay for something else shared on the cruise like an excursion. We have done this with non-suite people we have cruised with.
  19. D or D+ on RCCL becomes Elite on Celebrity.
  20. Multi-national but US-based companies really hate a strong dollar.
  21. We have always found decent local crabs at a take out shack at Icy Strait Point.
  22. The strong US dollar devalues pretty much all other currencies, including the Canadian dollar. Not a good situation unless you are an American traveling. Otherwise there are a lot of negatives to this situation.
