  1. Good news. I just received an email from Celebrity and they re-issued a new set of FCC's for a cruise that I cancelled later this year. I had applied FCC's to that cruise so I got them back in the original amounts. And there is no expiration date for them. So good to go for any future cruise.
  2. It is frustrating nonsense that Celebrity does not list our FCC's in our online accounts.
  3. You can book onboard and at any time before final payment you can apply your FCC to the reservation.
  4. Judy- just go for the Always Included fare and you should be fine.
  5. The rules were just relaxed. You should be able to use your FCC's.
  6. Yes good news. It is our money after all. Nice of Celebrity not to keep it for things that happened that were beyond our control.
  7. They have your information and have emergency notification messages by text - usually everbridge.net or by phone.
  8. This type of thing has happened to me in the past. In the old days I could reach Celebrity Captain's club pretty quickly. Wait times now are very hit and miss. If you are stressed about it and worried about cruise cancellation- then just pay it. Sort it out later or have $75 credit in your on-board cruise account.
  9. Next day is very typical for us - suite or no suite.
  10. There are other cruise lines that might give you lower or no fares for young children. Just do some research. You already know Celebrity's policy. If unhappy go elsewhere. No response on this board will change the Celebrity policy. Not a question of fairness. It is your cruise, your money and your buying option.
  11. Don't worry about it at all. It will be fixed when you check in for your cruise. No stress- just enjoy your cruise!😀
  12. No charges so no problem - right? If you were charged incorrectly then Guest Services would correct it for you.
  13. There is a list of laundry prices per item in your stateroom. Also dry cleaning if you need it. It is generally pretty expensive. But usually at least once per 7 day cruise they have a laundry bag special. Put all you can in a laundry bag for wash and fold (no press). Usually about $50. If you are Celebrity Captain's Club Elite, Elite+ or Zenith you get some laundry benefits.
  14. It really depends on your cruise style and what you need. Price out both options. Cruise only vs All Included. For Elite you get Happy Hour drinks, the breakfast and a bag of laundry. And a Wifi package discount and a premium drinks package discount. So that is all in your Cruise-only option and price if Elite. If you drink a lot more (outside Happy hour) and want unlimited Wifi, gratuities, OBC, then it might be a much better deal for you to do All-included. I think it is straight forward for most to decide.
  15. They still have them in 2023. Look at "Patagonia and Argentina" cruises on the South America cruise page. They go Around The Horn. They have 2024 too.
  16. Let's stick to the facts. The Elite level still gets Happy Hour drinks at any bar - just not in the dedicated Sky Lounge. Many prefer this change. And Elite gets discounts on WiFi and premium drinks upgrades too. Here is the link to Captains Club benefits. However if you go for All Included rates- no need to worry much about it. Except you do get the laundry benefit with Elite. https://www.celebritycruises.com/captains-club/tiers-and-benefits
  17. This is a really good question. We did the same. After we cancelled we got our refundable cash deposit back in a week or so. But where is the FCC that we had applied? Is it the same number(s) as before?
  18. Same here. Just before the pandemic in Jan 2020 we did Celebrity Eclipse (S-Class) from Santiago Chile around the Horn and back up to Buenos Aires. They do also have cruises that touch Antarctica. We have also sailed Celebrity Infinity (M-Class) from Miami through the Panama Canal full transit ending up in San Diego. We have also done Celebrity Solstice (S-Class) from Perth W. Australia all the way around NZ and ending in Sydney. Celebrity Constellation (M-Class) out of Venice and through the Adriatic region was awesome. All of these were relaxing two week destination cruises. Almost no kids on these cruises. We took Brilliance on RCCL through the Baltics and it was a similar experience.
  19. Confused- are you boarding the ship in Iceland for the first time? Or you cruising RT from the UK?
  20. If your cabin is booked using the "Always Included (AI)" package you will get the "free" drinks (including wine) even in the dining room. If you want a premium drink or wine above the package it might be just a few $more as you pay the difference. If you are sailing as Elite but without this package then you will just have the option of the complimentary wine and drinks at bars during the nightly HH. Most Celebrity cruise passengers these days get the AI package. It includes WiFi, gratuities, drink package. Also you can look up the other benefits included with Celebrity Elite membership level. One thing about the Celebrity ships - they are much more adult-oriented. Far fewer kids. Much quieter. Not an amusement park atmosphere like on the mega RCCL ships. The older M-Class ships in the fleet are about the size of the RCCL Radiance class. The majority of RCCL ships are much larger and much higher passenger capacity than most Celebrity ships even the newer ones like EDGE and APEX and BEYOND.
  21. I just meant that there are a lower number of Specialty Dining Restaurants on M-Class ships vs the other Celebrity ships.
