  1. You're arriving in Miami a little early; do you have plans for breakfast or a stop somewhere? Boarding probably won't be until 11 or later.
  2. I've taken it from Fort Lauderdale to MCO, coming from Port Everglades. Take an Uber to the station and enjoy the ride. It's painless.
  3. I've seen that it's midnight in the time zone of the departure port.
  4. You could also simply decline the insurance.
  5. Usually it's the Coast Guard with the guy at the gun in the front of the boat. 😉
  6. That happens every day when the ships leave. Bon voyage!
  7. Last Celebrity cruise, I got a pencil. I hate pencils.
  8. According to this page, a DV plate is sufficient. https://www.porteverglades.net/cruise/parking/disabled-parking/
  9. No, that'd be me. I'm looking for the word for you. 🙂
  10. I shall wear that word (although with the American spelling) like a badge of honor! 😂 Do you know the word for "people who hate parents who think their kids belong everywhere"? If I could capture that in a single word, my day will have been made. P.S. It affects more than just those itineraries.
  11. The website says "the adults-only Solarium pool." I therefore expect only adults to be in that space, and there's no reason for parents to expect children to be allowed to swim at all.
  12. As my father says, "Life isn't fair." Parents should be able to tell their children, "Sorry, that pool/area is for adults. We're not going to break the rules."
  13. Disney has open house hours in the clubs; you are welcome then.
  14. I am repeating myself, but I spend the late afternoon/early evening in the Solarium precisely because few people are there. I'm a hard pass on changing it at any hour or any itinerary for children.
  15. Then I'm guessing there isn't one. That's the info about the trolley.
  16. https://www.visitlauderdale.com/listing/laudergo-community-shuttle/18459/
  17. According to this website, Jetty Park opens at 7 a.m. https://www.portcanaveral.com/Recreation/Jetty-Park-Beach-Pier
  18. Depends if an E-class ship is also in port that day. The E-class ships get Terminal 25. If the Silhouette is the second Celebrity ship that day, it'll probably be at Terminal 29.
  19. As noted in the info in the link, the Palm Garage is for Terminals 19, 21, 25, 26, and 29.
  20. You'll park in the Palm Garage, formerly the Midport garage, for $20/night. There are handicapped spots, but they might fill up. Parking info: https://www.porteverglades.net/cruise/parking/
  21. The pool in the Solarium on the M-class ships is a thalassotherapy pool.
  22. Okay. 🤷 But the E-class ships have an entirely different dining room setup, with 4 MDRs. I've been on Apex twice and never had to wait for a table. Reservations aren't necessary, which will mean I continue my relationship with Celebrity. I don't want to plan what time I am going to eat 9 months in advance.
  23. It doesn't. "The Spa multi-use discount applies to most treatments; excludes MedSpa and retail. No complimentary access to Thermal Suite on Edge Class ships. Persian Garden pass only available on Millennium and Solstice Class ships while ship is in port."
