Good morning all it’s a bit grey here but still dry , other have has taken 5 of the grandchildren on a long walk this morning to earn their breakfast at McDonald’s 😁 so I’m catching up on some washing and polishing and excursions picking. Avril it was lovely to see you post , you know we are all thinking of you , just take your time and mend yourself 🥰 sending you a virtual hug 🧸 and anyone else who’s not feeling 100% .

Good morning everyone it’s a lovely sunny morning again here , we went to the beach yesterday for our usual lunch , bottle of fizz and salmon rolls and this time the beach wasn’t busy, went home to relax a bit then walk back down for the Friday fireworks from a distance. Both sets of daughters have gone camping this weekend in swanage so I’m looking after the cats and cooking lots of brownies today different flavours, chocolate maltesers, chocolate orange, white chocolate and raspberry, for their 22 Anniversary. Have a lovely weekend everyone and get well wishes for those that feel under the weather at the moment. Brian I hope your eye procedure went ok and you didn’t feel anything and faint unlike me when I had my ingrown toenail cut out the other week I passed out before they started just looking at the instruments on the table and the thought of what they were going to do 😂😂 I did come home with a xtra toe though.

Good morning everyone, it’s cloudy and currently 17c here . Taking two of the grandkids out for lunch today and picking up some school bits they need blazers and skirts. Went to see Chris Isaak last night and had a very enjoyable night , still a good singer at 68 and loved his song wicked game . Kalos my mum loved the Heinz toast toppers , I think it was a cheap filling dinner for her at times bringing 7 of us up alone , myself I hated the smell of them opening the can for her then getting told off for not spreading enough on .

At least you had space at the beach today Graham, this is Bournemouth beach at lunch time today, very busy all along the coast and traffic was horrible.

Good morning all , it’s lovely blue skies and 22 at the moment reaching 37 today. I went to visit my sister yesterday in Fareham and went out to lunch , it was so big it was my breakfast, lunch, dinner rolled into one . What normally takes me a 50 minute run to home took me 3 hours yesterday after a accident on the M27 in 33c heat , it was very hot yesterday. Tomorrow I have a small op on my big toe for a ingrown toenail, so having it sliced off a bit and I’m not looking forward to that , plenty of rest afterwards to watch more of the Olympics 😁

Yes we are , searching for the northern lights 😂😂 , we have booked a private tour to go on RVs up into the mountains, should be fun even if we don’t see them .

Thank you Sarah for your review and lovely pictures, I’m happy your husband enjoyed his bike ride down from the top of the mountains , we love Norway very much and been several times now and going again in October but much further round this time to Alta .

Avril that was a good idea looking back and start reading again when it’s hard to sleep. I was intrigued to when I joined this chat and it was page 66 , I think I was lurking for a while and plucked up courage to write something, wishing wowzz a happy anniversary was my entrance to start joining in and it’s now been a godsend for me , I really enjoy talking to you all my virtual friends 🥰

Good morning everyone it’s 16c and sunny here , other half getting ready for going out on his power walk, yesterday he got tripped up by a dog that went in between his legs 😂 he landed on the sand so no injuries, he’s in training for his 5 k Bournemouth run in October, weather looking good until next week so a few beach lunch visits are in order with some bubbly and salmon rolls 😉. Thank you for bringing back some memories from the 80s for me , went camping along the Mosel valley and plenty of German vineyards, spent 17 years living in Germany. Have a lovely time there.

Well I’m home back from visiting family and had a lovely time, dad had a great 90th birthday party with 30 guests and a singer for entertainment. Weather was hot and too hot at times, I only went to the beach once for two hours and got burnt, had my obligatory fall down the stairs again ( it’s those spainish stairs) and now covered in bruises again 😂 , great atmosphere in town last night at the restaurant with the football going on and the owner said we will be playing England in the final and he was correct!! I think England played very well tonight.

Vampires that’s lovely photos of your girls for the comparison of ages , they will also appreciate them when they are adults them selfs . Growing up quickly.

Good morning all , I have returned home from the Lake District and we had a very enjoyable 4 days visiting the area and playing on boats on lake Windermere, & Coniston lake , we had wonderful weather during the days and windy and rain during the last two nights . Ive unpacked and down the washing and now repacking for our trip on Monday to surprise father in-law in fuerteventura for his 90th , this time for a bit more relaxing holiday with hired car rather than looking after him and housework/ cooking. Hope you’re all keeping well and happy and enjoying this wonderful weather we have been having and lets hope more is to come for the summer especially for those of us that can’t get away anymore.
