80's night & Formal..

We still don't have a start date here in Australia. Some day in November.. Carnival has Brisbane Passenger Terminal booked on 6th, 13th & 20th of November with a start date. (I think they had 3rd also). No News on Trans-Pacific.. But you can judge by those dates.. The Big thing is what is going to be on-board??? Saw just 2 weeks in Drydock on Bookface. Not enough for Punchliner, Guys, Red Frog Pub, Alchemy Bar & other basic Carnival things.

Call Carnival. I think you will get both. I have used a FCC on a November Cruise that had OBC with Carnival direct, so I'm getting both. $900 (FCC) & $200 (Booked cruise with Carnival). I'm hoping to use My last FCC in May with my Milestone Cruise (25th with Carnival) to get around $1650.. Good luck..

Yeah, no time to sell, no updates on what's going to go inside, Pretty piss poor effort Carnival Australia.. 2 weeks they reckon in Drydock?? Has Carnival said that?? With 9 plus weeks to get here in total with dry-dock. (Would take 5 weeks of actually sailing I reckon from Italy.). They would have to have at least The Punchliner, Red Frog Pub, Alchemy Bar, Guys Burgers. To keep passengers happy.. With the competition offering so much more. Plus today Carnival Australia pushed back another week with there Non-Vaxxed passengers listings. 5% total of passengers can be non-Vaxxed. I have a 1 year old, who has to be put on that list on the 3 cruises we have before 1st January. She can't be Vaxxed but we still have to do exemption forms.. After 21 cruises & going Diamond 💎 on the 2nd cruise back. Might have to do my 2nd RCL..

Why not let them visit our nice city.. They could get a train to East Maitland station & get off & walk the 200 meters to the Iconic Maitland Goal & then after a tour a Taxi/Uber down to old historical town of Morpeth 4-5 KMs away.. Have lunch there or great a Wonderful Pie from Blakeleys on Melbourne St.. Of course go on a ships excursion to the legendary Hunter Valley Vineyards..

Not, to happy. Carnival Original had the 5th of October as there first cruise back. 4 Nights to Moreton Island. Which I booked. Expecting it would be. Then they put on a 3 day cruise leaving October 2 to no-where, I couldn't book it, as I have a 10 month year old & carnival won't let more then 2 sea days for that age group. Now there added a day on to the front of that cruise leaving 1st to Moreton Island, fine for Baby, but only 7 weeks notice & trying to get leave during this school holiday departure is next to impossible for me at this short notice.. Especially being loyal to Carnival, over 20 cruises with them & 7 days from there highest level. Plus there bringing a Costa ship here after only 2 weeks in Drydock. Not many will sail if it doesn't have attractions..

I love how the English Language is different between Countries. In names of things & sayings. In a America it's called a Koozies.. In Australia we call it a Stubbie Holder. Holds your Stubbie of Beer. A Stubbie is Beer in A Glass Bottle.

I thought & have used it a number of times, to ask for a table of 2 at set time Dining instead of sharing a table with strangers. Had to share on first couple of cruises, now no worries always a table for 2.

I do hope yourself or others keep us updated about the TP as you are all together for all those days. I'm doing the next 2 cruises on Splendor. Will check here & The Book.. There's going to lot's & Lot's of Aussies on The Pink Lady (Splendor). Happy Cruising..

Thank you, people. The Better Half can't go on this 3 day cruise, but will join me on the next 5 day one & she is 7 days short of Diamond. Plus it's only $30 extra for 2 passengers instead of 1..

So If I fully pay for 2 of us on A short 3Day cruise. One of us Doesn't Show. Only the person who shows will get VIFP Points. Even if it's all fully paid for??? Correct..

Yes, Tipping is not accepting on Carnival Australia Cruises. Your Gratitude is in Fare, the staff get paid different when sailing from Australia. We usually might give at end of cruise your Wait staff in MDR, favourite bar tender & room attendant a envelope with something in it (Money).

Keep It Going... Cruising Started back up in Australia 2 months ago... Not With Carnival (we used to have a year round ship), but with P&O Plus Princess. Carnival is still 3 months away before Splendor comes back. We where told back in March that cruising can recommence, but Carnival the brand, not the company is still way off. Ps:Its been fun seeing Loyal To Royal passengers on P&O ships (P&O are a more budget cruise line in Australia)

Being a Carnival loyalist, I couldn't agree more.. Or even Spirit Class ship. Miracle is on West Coast of USA doing Alaska cruises. Bring her over.. Yes They definitely need Guys Burgers, As Red Frog Pub & Definitely A Whales Tail...

Clam Shells is a very Australian thing.. IN the shade during our 9 month Summers.. Great during Sail-outs with a Buck of Beers..

Here in Australia our Drinks package is around $100 US, it's not worth it. But we would have on average around 50-75 Platinum/Diamonds on a cruise, so besides the boring bits, we would get around 4 - 6 Cocktail drinks. Plus near the end grab 4 or 5 carry out beers for the rest of the night & into the following day... Happy Times...

I have been So So lucky, all we have had here in Australia. (Ok Splendor just for 2.5 months) Has been Spirit Class, ships. So have had 23 cruises on them. People mention the space, yes hidden spots Deck 3 forward, Deck 3 wooden outside deck, Deck 10 above lido deck pools are never Crowded. I did prefer Legend over Spirit, as lots of Aussies loved a certain Cruise band & a certain MaitreD on Spirit, but I had just as good experiences in these areas on Legend. Plus those URN'S. LOVE THE URN'S. Went on Legend 10 times, going to miss Spirit class here in Australia 😥😥. Going on Splendor first-time in October, hope they send Miracle to Brisbane..

The departure should be just before 4 in the afternoon as cruise ships can't depart OPT between 4-6 (busy with Ferris trying to get people home from work). Oh your departing in December, it could be really Hot.. I mean 82" - 100". So be prepared.. It's easily the World's best Harbour..
