  1. My apologies for not repsonding sooner. I have not been on CC since I got off that cruise. Our experience with both embark and disembark were great. Quick and easy for both. And there was priority embarkation for lattitudes levels. By now you have already been on your cruise.
  2. Yes! There are 3 other friends of mine from Pocatello that will be on this trip as well! We will all be at the M&G, slot pull and cabin crawl. Hope to meet and many other soon! Karla
  3. Looking to see if anyone can give a more recent experience on this at the San Pedro terminal. Has anything changed with signage for the Latitudes status priority boarding checkin line? I sail Sunday on the Bliss from this port. Thanks much.
  4. Sometimes this happens on weekends when NCL techs are doing updates or maintenance.
  5. You won't fly into Seward. Nearest mainstream airport is Anchorage. From there you have several choices as to how you travel to Seward. Train, bus, other shuttle services or rent a car. It takes a minimum of a couple of hours to get from Anchorage to Seward. We did this cruise aboard the Jewel last summer, wonderful trip. We took the train, gold dome, it was fabulous! Alaska Travel with the train will transfer your luggage from the train to the ship in Seward if you book your train reservation through them. Go a couple of days early, relax, enjoy!
  6. I have never heard that. I use the ear patches every time I cruise cause they work great for me, and I drink alcohol. Have never had an issue.
  7. Oh my gosh! I need to look at the maps closer and don't get my Coves mixed up! We did visit Ward Cove last summer. Hoping we get to visit Amber Cove soon. Thanks everyone. 🙂
  8. Interesting, the cruisemapper webstie shows Encore docked at Ward Cove and Dawn docked at Taino Bay. So who knows.
  9. The two that sail in February were booked Feb 28 2022, and the cruise in late March was booked on Nov 9 2022.
  10. I have 3 upcoming cruises during Feb. & March. FAS on all. All show the 6 litres of Flow water as included with the drink pkg. Both cruises that sail in Feb, Bliss & Encore, my summary info does not show the water as one of the included items listed, however, the cruise in late March, Bliss again, does have the 6 litres of water listed in the included things list on the summary page. So, I guess we'll see!
  11. You might want to just wait till you are onboard the ship to make the dining change. Based on my own past experience, making a simple change such as what you are wanting to do isn't a big deal. Just go to the restuarant the day you board and ask for the adjustment to your party number. I have never had any issues getting this very thing done. I'm sure there are others that have had a different experience, but typically all of these NCL staff members are more than accomodating. Should be an easy fix. Good luck and happy cruising.
  12. We did the post cruise via NCL, LA Rodeo Drive, Hollywood and Santa Monica Pier tour as well as the one that does a walking tour of downtown LA, Dolby Theater area. You have time and opportunity to have lunch along the way. Both were interesting and a decent way to burn time if you have an evening flight departure. The tour buses are very nice. They have all your luggage stored in the bus and that bus stays with your group and tour and then drops you off at LAX. It's conveinent. Those tours end at LAX approx. 2:30ish. So you have plenty of time to have an early dinner at the airport if you want.
  13. I have not seen this offer. Have 3 upcoming cruises in Feb & March. Wouldn't the complimentary water be nice! We have the Free at Sea perks, however not the upgraded option. Might make a difference.
  14. We were on the Bliss for the Super Bowl last Feb. The game was shown on the big screen in the pool area, the Theater, The Local, I think the Brew House, and you could watch it in your stateroom, don't recall which channel on the TV. Was a good time!.
  15. Once you recieve your email from NCL with your flight intierary and confirmation/locator number for the airline, you can go to the airlines website and find your reservation, upgrade to whichever class you prefer and choose your seats. And pay for the upgrade costs at that time. Have a great trip!
  16. Wow. I just received our air itinerary for our Feb 18th cruise out of Miami. Used BOGO air promo offer. MSO to Miami. 2 day deviation. NCL booked us on a red eye, leaving Missoula at 5:30 pm, arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 5:30ish am next day. Did not have that new option to reject. UGH! The price we paid using the BOGO promo is outstanding, no way I could beat it if I was doing it on my own, however, there were several other options on 3 different airlines that could have us flying into Miami and not on a red eye. Can't ***** a whole bunch about it, you know when you book your cruise details this way you can end up with less than desirable flights. Be interesting to see if NCL transitions to the Accept or Reject options for all their air bookings.
  17. We did a partial transit on the Pearl, old locks, about 6 years ago. Round trip out of Mia. Enjoyed that so much we wanted to do a full transit. Chose to make this trip on one of the larger ships thru new locks, did Bliss Mia to LA this past Feb. Both of these journeys were spectacular. Both of these ships are wonderful. The Panama Canal and the history there are impressive. East to West, West to East? Flip a coin. Do both on different ships. Jewel class ship one time to experience the old locks and the Breakaway plus class the next time to transit the new locks. It's worth it. We will likely do it again sometime in the future.
  18. We were on the Bliss twice in the past year, there were the high end jewelry and watches stores as well as the "Sand Bar" gift shop. All seemed to be well stocked, lots of fun stuff. Additionally, we were on the Jewel in July and she also was well stocked with all things jewelry and fun gift shop items. So maybe it is just the Joy is low on merchandise.?
  19. We are on the Encore sailing 2/26 - 3/5, just prior to yours. So far, GSC port has not been cancelled/changed for our trip. Hoping this stays for our trip.
  20. We did the train from Anchorage to Seward the day of embarkation. So the opposite direction you are asking about. I booked the train via the Travel Alaska - Alaska Railway website before the option came out from NCL as an excursion. Cost was about the same. We had reserved the Gold Dome ride that included meal and drinks. The Gold Dome car has the upper level seating with amazing views. Well worth the extra cost and time involved if you have enough time to make it work. If you do choose to to do this I would encourage you do it several months in advance as this space seems to fill up quite a bit in advance. Good luck and enjoy Alaska.
  21. We were on the same cruise as nhtravels, Beatles shows are always full. We never did make it to the Cavern Club in time to see the show inside so we sat out on the Waterfront area right outside the Cavern Club and watched them from the flat screen tv. I quite like that location, very enjoyable. We did see them the night they performed in the theater, outstanding show.
  22. This thread topic is great! Still interested to hear anything about the snapper in Los Lobos. I now must try the Coq au Vin at Le Bistro. Had the beef filet twice and it was excelent.
  23. Been on the Bliss twice in the last year. Eaten at Ocean Blue serveral times. At the indoor seating and outside seating. Never a fishy odor issue and the food as well as service was very good. Enjoy!.
