There are some unusual ports I see and am happy to see that wc26 is going to India as part of wc 26 and more specifically Chennai which not many cruiselines visit.I would love to be on that segment.Not to mention LA is my home port so I will likely be on a couple of segments!!

Seems like a lot of armchair quarterbacking going on Cruise Critic,and not just in Crystal’s boards.aaah such is life.But has it ever occurred to ‘all that the people at A and K have been around the block a few times,and actually might know something about running a shipping organization?!

The.majority of Crystal customers don't live in Australia. And I would think USA ,followed by the UK and EU For most it is a long way to travel to and from Sydney and Bali,so it does not surprise me really, and many people don't like to fly that much or so far to and from a cruise

I would doubt any holiday cruise would be discounted at all.

Now I have to be on the starboard instead of my preferred port side LOL

,i quite understand that maybe poor word choice,but regardless it's a place to go if you just want to chat, that means other cruise company "cheerleaders" et al can chat there

How hard is to just start a new thread ,, When I visit forums like cruise critic I expect the posts to be related to the original topic.It wastes my and other cc members time,plus isn't relevant to the topic at hand.That is what the Bistro is. for. The place to go off toprc. .If I am not interested in a posting is irrelevant, I might not visit that thread again due to the "misnomer" I , for one, am here to learn something or to make social contacts when I board rhe ship of the off topic threads are not only off topic but also. as the saying goes,"kicking a dead horse! . as more and more people add to a conversation..

It seems silly to fly all the way to Miami from so cal,for just a 7 day cruise Just had my ta look and she is going to hold one on each of the other 2 cruises for a few days.Having a great TA is so important .She is fantastic:)

unfortunately no place that I really like to visit ,,but if there is a repositioning cruise, that would be great because I love sea days! I am not a cruise snob, thank goodness, and do sail on HAL, Celebrity occasionally,, and will be trying Princess 2024...along w my b2b Alaska to Los Angeles cruise on Serenity in August 2024 ,and over new years eve 2025 on Crystal Serenity

I am now tracking both ships on Marine traffic, having filtered out all but cruise ships 🙂

Since we are starting in Vancouver, we have to get off the ship as we may have to go through customs before entering Alaska they have to be sure the ship has disembarked all passengers , but then you are allowed to board a little while later after custome if required . I am going to be on Serenity from August 13-27. 2024 Are you on either of the segments that I will be on? I would like to meet other people before hand if possible. I wish they would start to have meet n greets again! 🙂 Are you in the same s5tateroom both segments? If not you can get someone to move your things to the new one/Fortunately I have the same stateroom for both segments
