online check-in for 2nd leg of B2B - questions
Jim_Iain replied to scrabble6's topic in Celebrity Cruises
For B2B's you will have two choices. It will be explained at the B2B Meeting - You will receive a letter that also explains the process. You will each also receive a transit pass. 1. You can leave the ship prior to 9:00 AM bringing your Transit Pass with you. If you choose this option you will not be able to rejoin the ship until general boarding begins at about 11:00 AM. When you return to the ship you show your transit pass and will be directed to special desk where you will be checked in - Basically photo taken, possibly credit card imprint, photo and health questionnaire. 2. You can stay aboard and around 9:00 you will meet with all the B2B's and will be taken off the ship for a quick processing and once the ship is zeroed out will be escorted back aboard and will have the ship to yourself until general boarding. -
We definitely have not abandoned Celebrity. We have 5 more booked and will shortly book another when we finish 2 more cruises and receive the Double Zenith FREE CRUISE. In the future I think we will be more itinerary driven rather than staying loyal to any cruise line.

LOL --- We use to eat in a French Restaurant in San Francisco regularly and were good friends with the Chef and Partner. While he would never toss out a customer sometimes the fights between the two owners could be heard from the kitchen. Luc had quite a temper. He would then pop out of the kitchen with big smile and socialize with the guests. Unfortunately the restaurant is long gone.

Thanks for sharing. In college I worked in a French Restaurant and probably old school French with dome service and was very much choreographed.

No problem with the underlines. That happens to me sometimes using my iPhone and cant seem to turn it off. We are not totally turned off by Celebrity but now that we have had a taste of something new it only makes us more curious. I think that in the future we may be more itinerary driven rather than Cruise Line driven.

Disembarkation was a breeze and very relaxed. We didn't disembark until 9:00. They had our luggage at the front of the terminal. We got an Uber and it arrived within 5 minutes. Unlike the over the top prices of Ponant it cost us $9.00 US to the Luggage Drop Off place. We then walked to Toronto Subway Station and purchased 3 days worth of day passes. Our place wasn't suppose to be ready until 1PM so we went to scope it out and just as we arrived the owner sent a message that we could check in at 11:00 AM. Since it was 10:45 at that time we waited until they dropped the key in the lockbox, checked it out and then returned to downtown to recover our luggage We then did a quick grocery store run to pick up some breakfast items, milk and bread. Next we found a Liquor Store and got some wine for Iain. Some wonderful Celebrity Zenith friends have invited us for dinner for tonight. So anxious to see them again.

No Cunard won't be until about a year from now. I booked it to replace the November 2024 cancelled Lisbon to Buenos Aires. We switched the 1st half of a b2b that wasn't cancelled to a TransAtlantic to FLL I decided we would try an eastbound TA from New York to Southampton. We decided to stay at the same AirBnB in Lymington as last years Covid Retreat. We loved the Town. It will also allow us to visit Iain's Family in Scotland as we arrive in UK 2 weeks before our cruise.

We are in Toronto. Disembarkation is by a 3 color tag system. 1. Cars arranged by Ponant 2. Tours and Bus Service 3. Those using own transport We will be last - at 8am first group called. We are due to depart at 9am As we will not be able to check in until noon at our AirBnB I found a luggage storage area via an APP called Bounce. The have luggage storage area all over. Many like the one we have is a Dry Cleaners. Cost 8 Canadian per bag.

Iain loves the ergonomic. I prefer a Down pillow but the feather ones worked ok.
