There’s also the staff shortage and the extra strain on the crew associated with tendering . Royal has been trying to reduce tendering world wide lately.

I’m not on this cruise but I have a lot of friends that are and there seems a lot of conflicting stories about compensation for Eden being dropped. Some people are saying they got something and some are saying Royal are definitely not giving compensation. Has anyone got some compensation ,because I don’t know who to believe .

Join the club about Quantum class . I would love to see a Freedom class as it would make more sense than a Oasis. At the moment Brisbane is the only practical home port for an Oasis and they have trouble filling Quantum,so we can forget that. A Freedom can get into Melbourne ,Lifou,Mare and isle of pines. It could even Home port in Melbourne as Quantum or bigger catches to much cross wind.

There has been speculation about Independence and it could get into Melbourne, not too big for Mare and Lifou .

There’s talk of Anthem of the seas along with Ovation in Sydney 24-25 Golly gosh I might have to get a Princess Medallion to winge about and defect over to carnival . At least I wouldn’t have to put up with my best mate @gbenjo

I think Brilliance should pretty cool for Eden ,it’s the bigger ships are the problem. Hey ,make the best of Radiance class this season, it’s probably the last we will see of it.

One could replace Navigator in L.A. ,say Ovation . Love see Navigator here doing Mare ,Lifou and isle of pines. Quantum class are to big for those islands , Voyager and Explorer were regulars to those islands.

It sounds like you’re in Australia and it should be in AUD but if it doesn’t have AUD at the end of the price it’s definitely US .

I have a cruise on Brilliance to Kangaroo Island in November and Kangaroo is probably the deciding reason I booked it. People have noted that there’s no shore excursions for Kangaroo island ,I wonder if we make it there.

Yeh ,those Rhino beetles . I suppose another sea day, with the punters spending onboard would be better for the shareholders. I wonder if anyone got the port fees refunded?
