  1. Yep, definitely subjective and we all like what we like. We loved Mason Jar brunch (never had dinner and don't plan to) as much last week as we did the first time and can't wait to be back there this summer.
  2. This. You can't book open skating, laser tag, and maybe something else until you board and connect to the ship wifi.
  3. Hey @BillOh, Just got off Wonder this morning. I don't think I have any answers to your recent questions but I posted a ton in a live blog on that other site if you haven't seen it. We had a WONDERful time as expected. Can't wait to be back aboard in 10 weeks!
  4. It was $19.99pp more than once for my Wonder cruise leaving tomorrow.
  5. This. We passed at $19.99pp b/c we don't value a heated pool, we love the regular included food, and my wife wouldn't even try any of the additional food items at Hideaway b/c she's picky. I'd rather spend $40 at Playmakers or Mason Jar. At $60pp? I'd sooner have dinner at a specialty restaurant than spend it on Hideaway Beach. Everyone values things differently.
  6. It's one long beach... Cove Beach is just slightly farther away from everything. I've never spent time at either though I've walked past them. I guess Cove Beach may be slightly quieter? "Better" is subjective depending on what you want to be closer or farther from.
  7. Exactly the same as us. P.S. Fly Eagles Fly (and PLEASE get a defense). Born and raised in the Philly 'burbs myself as was my wife.
  8. People have reported seeing them in recent weeks on Wonder. I believe it’s $90 now.
  9. She looked fine to me in October. Had a great time as always.
  10. Suite perks are far greater on Oasis class. CK is a restaurant I'd describe as better than the MDR but not quite specialty (although night one filet mignon is excellent). With a suite on Allure you would also get free WIFI for each person and free beer, wine, soda, bottled water, etc. in the suite lounge from 11-11 each day. None of those perks are included on smaller classes. Of course, the prices usually reflect the differences. Also, everything I wrote applies to full suites, not junior suites.
  11. Deck 14 in an empty room at the front of Adventure Ocean. You'll see it listed as "Puzzle Break Center" here... https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/deckbydeck.php?ship=Wonder-of-the-Seas&deck=14
  12. Same experience for us. For anyone unaware, the reason it's not a "real" escape room is because Wonder was originally meant to be deployed in Asia and when Covid forced a change in plans, they had to scrap the Asian-facing escape room. The crew member who ran ours told us RC kept telling them they would eventually come and build a real escape room but never did. I worked on a math puzzle with my niece and after we solved it (with a bit of trouble) we were told part of it is kinda screwy b/c they do math differently in China. 🤣 Definitely worth doing if you like puzzles, IMO... because it's free so why not?
  13. FWIW, the app is more likely to be glitchy than anything else in my experience. I have seen reservations for various things (dining, shows, etc.) disappear and reappear leading up to a cruise.
  14. I just notice them randomly and the two I've seen popped up very close to our sailing (inside of 10 days out). They really are not common at all so don't think you're missing anything if you don't see them.
  15. Those Diamond sales are not common. I've only seen them mentioned a handful of times so don't think you were missing something obvious. But yes, it's good to know for the future.
  16. I always use the planner on my laptop but I can book entertainment via the app.
  17. Seeing late sale prices for cabanas on my 3/17 Wonder sailing. Another “Diamond & Above” sale.
  18. Wonder is often there alone on Mondays. For my cruise on 3/17, Hideaway Beach was down to $19.99 more than once. I assumed it was b/c of one ship being there during Spring Break. It has been under $30 for months. By comparison, I’m also there alone on Wonder in June & July but the price is higher.
  19. It largely still is for me. Food is subjective.
