  1. No, I booked this cruise yesterday. I didn't even know I was going to get this Freeplay at all. I just happened to come across it as I was reviewing the new booking in the Cruise Personalizer. Nice surprise! I wonder if this was also available to me for my cruise last January and I missed it...
  2. Thanks, that page is already printed and in the folder for this cruise!
  3. I knew you would know the answer! Can you divide it up between slots and table games? Also, this is on top of the OBC I'm getting?
  4. They do the same in Fort Lauderdale.
  5. I called yesterday and got my return call about 2 hours later. It sure beat waiting on hold with elevator music! I had braced myself for a long hold, it was a pleasant surprise. If your cable home phone is blocking those return calls you have the option to put a different number in. Try using a cell phone number instead and see if that works for you.
  6. I just booked a sailing in 2024 and this is showing up in my Cruise Personalizer: *** **** $400 Freeplay@cage Does anybody know what this means? Am I getting a $400 credit to use in the Casino? ( I deleted the seven letters and digit that appears before the $400. I don't know if that's a redemption code of some sort.) Thanks in advance.
  7. I placed two cabins on hold yesterday and I now want to remove the hold on one of the cabins. How do I do this?
  8. No, it is one 14 day sailing. I guess, I will need to keep checking. My concern is that if the cabin I wanted becomes available, I might have to re-book under a new rate which could be substantially higher.
  9. I am interested in a particular cabin on a future cruise in 2024. Right now, that cabin is showing as unavailable. I have booked the cabin next door, but I would prefer the other one if it became available. Is there a procedure to wait list for a particular cabin if it becomes available? I understand that I could keep checking every few days and switch then, but I'm just wondering if there is a way I could have 'first dibs' if it became available. Thanks for any help.
  10. Is anyone staying in an aft minisuite on Emerald Deck? How is the noise at night from Club Fusion?
  11. Getting around to the noise from Club Fusion. Is the noise loud or subdued? Would an average sleeper be prevented from going to sleep around 11PM? In one of the Emerald deck minisuites?

  14. I think AA borrowed the tech wizards who developed the MedallionClass App. 💻🤦‍♂️
  15. This from Greyhound Canada: Greyhound Lines, Inc. (USA) will continue to operate cross-border express services on the following routes when the border reopens: Toronto to New York - Toronto to Buffalo - Montreal to New York - Montreal to Boston - Vancouver to Seattle Greyhound Lines, Inc. (USA) is a separate entity from Greyhound Canada. This announcement has no impact on Greyhound Lines’ operations within the United States.
  16. You will pick up your Medallion at check-in at the port then.
  17. Several car rental companies (at least in the U.S.) will come to pick you up. Call the different companies you have an interest in and find out if pick-up at the port is available. Alternatively, see if you can book a hotel in Montreal which will have a cruise port pick up and arrange for the car from the hotel. You should be able to find out which Montreal hotels might have pick up at the port on this Cruise Critic forum: East Coast Departures - Cruise Critic Community Just start a new thread there.
  18. OP doesn't show where they are located. If they live in the U.S. and are flying into England for the cruise, do they need to get the Medallion at the pier or does it get mailed to the home in the U.S.?
  19. You ought to see the conversation about this new protocol on the Princess forum. One part of their site says test needed for 16+ days on one page and another removed that requirement from another... People don't know what to think. I think it all got rolled out too quickly by Carnival Corp.
  20. It's nice to see Princess is rapidly getting back to the pre-Covid norms - If you don't get an answer you like, look or ask again and get a completely different answer. The same geniuses that handle the Medallion App must be supervising what is being posted on their website. It's all over the place. 🤦‍♂️
  21. Today is August 18. That page refers us to the Vaccination & Testing Requirements by Region page which has removed the testing requirement for vaccinated passengers not on voyages with enhanced guidelines, so they are still in conflict with each other. "What are the testing and vaccination requirements for sailing with Princess? Princess welcomes all guests to enjoy our one-of-a-kind vacation experience. Below you’ll find important information regarding testing and vaccination to help you plan your next cruise: View the Vaccination & Testing Requirements by Region page." Tat page shows: Effective on voyages departing on September 6, 2022 & beyond (Voyages Departing from the United States, United Kingdom, & Europe^) Updated: August 16, 2022 Vaccination Status Definition by Country's Health Authority Pre-Travel Test Type & When to Take Test Before Boarding Age: 5 Years and Up Voyages from the U.S., UK, EU Voyages with Enhanced Guidelines^ Fully Vaccinated U.S. Voyages* Received primary series of COVID-19 vaccines with final dose at least 14 days before embarkation. 22. That is a very good question. You still have time to get the correct answer. To be safe, make plans to get tested anyway.
  23. Did you read the post I made just before yours? It says nothing about "blurry photos" being acceptable.
  24. Thanks, that page was last updated on August 15. The link above is more recent by a day (August 16.) Again, I am wondering if the August 16 update had an omission in error or another change in policy.
