  1. We are feeling ok but We still have congestion in the sinus and head. Blowing my nose all the time and still doing some coughing. It's kind of frustrating that it has been lingering on.

  3. We have had to put some dog playpen fencing around the Christmas trees to keep the dogs from trying to chew on ornaments and such. We figured we would introduce the pups to the trees slowly so that they would get used to them. Lizzy found her favorite spot.

  5. Ha, Right behind it is a full bottle of Meleti that I got the day before "just in case." I made the "Sea Dog Old Fashion's for my two male guests and they really liked them. Those stuffies look fantastic. Your dinner sounds delicious. I too forgot to take any pictures. I was so focused on cooking everything in time and getting it served that I forgot to take some pictures. I am weird in that when I have a dinner party I have my guests sit and then I serve them, no self serving. I try to make dinner at my home as much as restaurant experience as I can. It was challenging making cocktails and cooking the risotto at the same time. I pretty much baby sat the steaks so they would not get over cooked. Most everyone liked their steak medium rare to medium which was good.
  6. She’s better but still admits her stamina is not 100%. Everything is prepped. steaks marinated for 8 hours. Chocolate martini glasses chilling Twice baked potatoes ready to be be reheated Black Truffle Seafood Risotto prepped. Bacon wrapped asparagus ready to go into oven then drizzled with balsamic vinegar glaze reduction. Chocolate bomb cake ready to be dropped. Will serve will a scoop of chocolate silk ice cream and a chocolate martini. It is death by chocolate. Bar stocked ready for cocktails. Hope everything goes well and I don’t screw something up. What dish did you make?
  7. Yes the drink package for the Bella Cruise in March is the same that I paid several months ago at $73.00. The Voom and Surf isn't a bad price. I may go ahead and get that if I can ever get on the site.
  8. Went to go look at Royal’s Black Friday Sale and of course the websites down for maintenance. Rial IT at its best once again.
  9. I love to grill and do grill all year round. Even if it’s snowing I’m out there. Im sure he will love the Woodford Double Oak. That’s a great bottle.
  10. Yes I have thought of that I’m pretty much going to do everything since I am further a long than her. I do most of the cooking anyway. When we got married our arrangement was whoever gets home first starts making dinner. Since she was an assistant prosecutor and lawyer she worked way more hours than me. Since before we were married I was a bachelor who alway ate out and never cooked. Matter of fact in two apartments I lived in over a total of 14 years the stove was never turned on. So when I got the opportunity to cook it was exciting for me. I got to the point where I got quite good at it. We balance each other out since she is better at the bills and finances and cleaning. I’ll take cooking any day.
  11. We told our situation with our guests and said that Linda may be 1 day shy of the 10 days and they said they were not worried and want to go ahead. They gave all had COVID before and are vaccinated and boosted. They don’t seem to be bothered by it so we will go ahead with it.
  12. My heart breaks for you. I’m so sorry to hear of this loss of loved family member. At least they are back together again. Peace be with your family as you grieve this unbearable loss.

  14. Problem is our calendar is getting pretty full from here on to Christmas. Might have to rechedule after the first of the year.
  15. So this Saturday will mark 11 days for me but it will be 9 days for Linda. I guess we should ask our guests if they would feel comfortable coming over or not? What do you think?
