  1. Congratulations! I'm sure you will get the hang of editing with the app. Looking forward to seeing your video. I still may get one but after shelling out the money for a new go pro that fell off the ship I need to not spend a ton of money on new cameras.
  2. Getting a little nervous for my big debut tomorrow as Santa for the videotaping of my television station's annual reading of "Twas The Night Before Christmas" played back on Christmas eve and read to station employee's children by long time retired anchor Larry Moore. I got the suit and some extra padding since I lost weight. The wig and beard are kinda weird, I hope they don't itch me to death. Don't worry Linda will come along to take some photos that I will post. I just hope I can get a deep enough Ho ho ho.
  3. @HBE4 I loved seeing the pictures of you and the family. It helps me connect a name and face. What a beautiful person I can tell she is. Thank you for sharing your story with us. We will continue to love and support you as you go through the ups and downs of the grieving process. We are family and we are here for you.
  4. Congratulations on being able to see better! My heart breaks for you. What an emotional story that had me in tears. I can't imagine the pain you were in. You were incredible in your love, devotion and support of her. She is in a better place now and will forever be imprinted in your heart. Her spirit lives on. Rest in Peace.
  5. My dad had a set of 78’s that was called Norman Granz’s Jazz Scene. I believe there where 7 discs that had Jazz from Charlie Parker and Billie Holiday. It included a beautiful black and white photo book. I sold it on eBay to a collector for over $500.
  6. I wish I would have seen him before he passed. I really did not become a big fan till later in life and really started listening to the beauty of his voice. Also the bands backing him were incredible especially the Count Basie Band when Quincy Jones was writing the arrangements. Incredible!
  7. I would be just fine with that as I am a huge "Chairman of the Board" fan. Love those porcelain lighted trees. We have one from Linda's mom's. It's probably 50 years old.
  8. In case anyone missed it and is wanting to listen to some new and different Christmas music than the same Mariah Carey song over and over. Here is the post of my annual Christmas Mix for you to download. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2744452-royal-caribbean-cruisers-how-are-things-where-you-are-was-routine-%E2%80%8B-%F0%9F%98%81-%E2%80%8Bday-in-lockdown-how-was-yours/?do=findComment&comment=64369457
  9. I'm sure the price for 14 days of parking isn't cheap either. I really think a lot has to do with it being in March and spring break time. Peak tourist destination in Miami during that time. Yikes that's insane. What was your favorite restaurant all week? Bourbon selection good or bad? God I love that cat. Just beautiful and oh so adorable.
  10. Thsnk God she’s ok and not a heart attack. Stress can cause all kinds of problems. I will be thinking of her and hoping the stress level goes down.
  11. Booked airfare this morning. Flying in on Saturday and flying out after debarkation. Fares were outrageous. Safe travels wished to you. Have a fantastic cruise. Beautiful pictures. You live in an incredible area.
  12. Wow looks like I’ve missed a lot of posts. Sorry I haven’t been around the last two days I’ve been getting ready for our second of 3 dinner parties at my home. Tonight will be somewhat of a repeat even though it is for different guests. 3 couples that live in our neighborhood where all of our sons grew up together and were best friends. Tonight’s menu will be my marinated filets and twice baked and sweet potatoes. I’m making my Greek Orzo salad again and our other couples are bringing appetizer, vegetable dish, and one couple makes a killer chocolate mousse that we have every year. Should be fun. I’ll check in tomorrow.
  13. I personally can’t thank everyone enough for the inquiries and care when I had my knee replacement. All the outpouring of love and care helped me get through it. I for one am thankful for what the thread is and hope it continues that way.
  14. Bravo well done and beautiful shots. Winner!!!! Hopefully your concerns will be addressed. It's good you said something. Beautiful pictures. Hopefully you will be a Grandmother soon. Best wishes to everyone.
  15. That's seems really bizarre. I wonder if you spoke to F&B Mgr or someone high up could explain what's going on. Sounds like something's not right whether it's supply chain, crew experience or something else.
  16. Oh that's so disappointing to hear. I wonder if the steaks were any better than the prime rib? I hope it gets better. Thanks for checking it out. I think some of it may be the holiday season. I have got pretty busy with things. We have dinners or parties every weekend. This weekend I host another dinner party of some of our dear friends in the neighborhood whose sons all grew up with Jonathan. I have been busy in the kitchen today prepping.
