  1. I am confident that we will meet up again. The Soggy Dollar will be a repeat destination for us. That's what I thought too. I could watch that all day long. Thinking of you Dani and hope and pray for your safety.
  2. I love lobster bisque. Did he like it and did it actually have chunks of lobster in it? Worst Lobster Bisque I’ve ever had was in Chops.
  3. Now that’s a great position to be in. Love Judy Collins. My parents were also huge fans. Cheers to you tonight! Edited to change my fat fingers type.
  4. Now that’s a great position to be in. Love Jusy Collins. My parents were also huge fans. Cheers to you tonight!
  5. Thank you Andrew. I will investigate this option for future cruises that stop at St. Thomas. That’s what I was thinking. Yes staying with cruise excursions is safer from a time factor. Remember? We were going to go to Tortola together and then there was the pandemic.
  6. Just saw we were switched. Same itinerary but in reverse which I think is ok. Before we had two days at sea at the top now it's our last two days which I think will be ok. The St. Croix port will be a longer stay instead of 8am-5pm it's now 7am-6pm which I think it's good. Perfect Day is a shorter stay instead of 10am-6pm it's now 7am-4:30pm. The big change time in port is Tortola. We want to do an excursion to Jost Van Dyke and White Bay to go to the Soggy Dollar Bar. Originally it was 7am-3pm now it's 12pm-8pm. I don't know if this is good or bad. In one way we can have a good breakfast and then get ready to go over. The bad may be by the time we get there it may be really crowded. Anyone with experience at Soggy Dollar better in the morning or afternoon?
  7. Just watched a great timelapse video on YT of a cargo ship at sea for 30 days. It's ten minutes long but has some amazing footage of thunderstorms, torrential rain and busy traffic. The night time video is also amazing looking at the stars. Check it out !
  8. Ok sorry my mistake. I can't keep track of everyone's cruises and where they originate. Good price I would take that.
  9. @A&L_Ont Question for you?? When you did your excursion to Jost Van Dyke (was that a Royal excursion by the way?) what time were you in port and what time was the excursion? Since our cruise got switched from Voyager to Adventure originally we were to be in Tortola from 7am-3pm so I assuming a morning to early afternoon excursion. Now we will port from 12pm-8pm. I wondering if an excursion to JVD in the afternoon is a good thing or bad thing? Thinking what will the crowds will be like? What was your experience? Thanks for your help. Sea Dog
  10. Galveston right? Embassy Suites looks great as always I don’t know if we tried to book there or not. I like ES. Did you get a decent rate?
  11. YAY! Finally we got moved over on our Eastern Caribbean Oct. 21st sailing which includes Tortola. The port stops got switched around and I think I'm ok with it. 12. That’s great news. Im so sorry Lenny. Have a great cruise. Get some great mooring line pictures. The closer without getting yelled at gets you extra points. GreT way to start the day off. Cheers! I sure hope you get to do the Dog Sled excursion. That sounds like a lot of fun.
  13. I used a retractable badge holder that I can clip on a belt loop. It's great to extend and show it to someone if need be. Also you can tuck it away in a pocket and not worry about it falling out of your packet. https://www.amazon.com/Retractable-Holders-Carabiner-Vertical-Kevlar/dp/B07KGQQHCJ/ref=sr_1_5?crid=39DLBM4PISR6P&keywords=retractable+badge+holders&qid=1659667587&sprefix=Retractable%2Caps%2C102&sr=8-5
  14. Congrats let's this party started!! I like the color of your luggage and the stickers. Easy to pick out. Cheers!!
  15. Another fun whiskey tasting at my friends store. This time it was Wilderness Trail from Danville, KY. Cofounders Shane Baker and Dr. Pat Heist met playing in a rock band. Thinking that music didn't pay the bills, Dr. Heist thought he would make use of is Phd in in Plant Pathology and microbiology. That was the beginning of Wilderness Trail. Two classes mine was the first. Room was packed. Back in 2013 that still and the entire operation was producing about two barrels of bourbon a day. Now it's over 200 barrels per day with more than 100,000 in storage at their rick houses. Green label was my favorite. Could not go wrong with any of these. We tasted 4 offerings including their wonderful Rye. The rye was in my opinion the best of the four. If you like bourbon or rye and see this in the stores try it I think you will like it.
