When we were there we did the mules going up and the cable car going down. I wish there was something easier. I felt bad for the mules and I was a nervous wreck afraid that we would not get on the cable car in time to make it back to the ship. It would be nice if they rebuilt the cable car to handle more people and a faster run.

We are checked in! Ready to set sail on Symphony September 16th. One advantage to being on CDT is that August 3rd when we could check-in happens at 11PM. So like a hawk armed with my phone and laptop when 11pm came I was ready. About a minute after everything opened up on the app first but not on my cruise planner. I quickly nabbed the earliest slot at 10:30am and then preceded to fill in the rest of the info. One thing that I thought was weird was in the app they wanted to take a screen shot of my passport or pick from my photo library. I had a hard time finding it so I went over to my laptop where I knew I had a copy. By then the web portion would let me check in but in the cruise planner it did not require the uploaded pic of the passport just the passport information. I do wish both would be the same. It's much easier in some ways to do everything via computer. In the end what really mattered was getting the early check in time at the terminal. Since we purchased the "Key" (only for internet and getting on board a little earlier to do my UDP dining reservations) I'm hoping that we can arrive after 9:30 and get in the process to board. Having never sailed out of Miami how easy is the process? Do they have a separate line for suite and Key holders? Any experiences would be helpful to know.

RC approved power strip/non surge protector
Sea Dog replied to slyster's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It was in it's original box in our checked luggage. It went through security just fine. Every ship may be different but we've have had no problems. This is true. Royal does not approve. The manufacturer's say approved only as a marketing gimmick. While USB-A could only support up to 2.5 watts and 5 volts, USB-C now supports 100 watts and 20 volts easily enough for larger devices. The practical benefits of this include pass-through charging; effectively a USB hub that powers laptops, and also charges other devices simultaneously. Thanks for posting this. I'm sure it's helpful to people who do not know the difference. True to that. -

We used it on our last two cruises. It fits in the one European plug that is by the table. Worked well and added a few more plugs for us to use. -

We also use this to take advantage of the European plug on board. Works great. https://www.amazon.com/European-Adapter-TESSAN-International-Adaptor/dp/B07FJWLLDB/ref=sr_1_5?crid=SS1R8F6ZWZOY&keywords=european+plug+adapter&qid=1659449702&sprefix=EUROPEON+PLUG+ADAPTER%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-5 -
Up early this morning because Lizzy and Charlie wanted to do their business at 5:30am and could not go back to sleep. Too many things on my mind. Last night I was playing around more with the Midjourney Art AI program creating some interesting new art. I was thinking of @Ocean Boy and his new fondness like mine of Kraken dark spiced rum. I came up with a special glass that we should have made to drink this delectable nectar from the Caribbean. The Kraken Glass:
