The drinks on the menu in Eden are what they are. Only one or two is included in the premium package, the rest you pay the difference plus the gratuity. You can order a lesser alcohol and soda etc that will probably be on the classic package, just not from the Eden drink menu....

Nobody said you were…but I have to say, your math above is closer than you think to working out..if you value any type of internet on board, the AI rates may actually be in your favor..

I did forget, we drink those too, and always take extras back to the cabin..it does add up for some.

Agreed, the few times I have tried to use it, just frustratingly slow..not worth my time..I have made a few voice calls when I had the internet included in an AI rate just for kicks,,that seemed to work..friends just love to hear about how much fun you are having while they are at work. 🙂

How much per day was it using the AI booking? Like I said, math isn’t hard..it works great for my Wife and I…a coffee or two a day. A few Mimosas…pool drinks, evening drinks. Gambling drinks…at $10-15 a pop, it doesn’t take long..plus, no slips to sign. Im not cruising without a few trips to the Martini Bar, that adds up quick.. You are letting the 20% get under your skin..every drink you buy on board will have the same amount applied.. Options are good, I like paying one price and being done..others not so much. There really is no right or wrong..

I sailed on a suite on Ascent in Jan of this year, it was booked when the pricing first came out..one week was much cheaper than the others...Celebrity honored the price for the SS...we paid substantially less than many on the ship in a SS. Here's to them honoring this price...it is not like they priced it at $100 for the entire cruise...

I have never witnessed rampaging kids on a Celebrity ship.. When was the sailing where they hurt you? You reference it constantly, others must have been a party to the carnage.

Getting off topic, but AI works well for my Wife and I…yeah, it was better with room grats, but we always get the drink package and consider the internet a throw in..the math works for us, I hope they at least keep the option.

Seems fair to me..warning was given. Entertainment is very subjective and every adult oriented show I have ever been too it was made clear ahead of time…I have also never seen them not let anyone leave the show if they were caught off guard, etc..

Obviously they designed/built the ships with this in mind. You think Celebrity had this in mind when they designed their current fleet? Frankly I don't care what folks do on their balconies, but I can understand why Celebrity wouldn't condone hammocks.

Music is subjective for sure…reading this thread proves that…I think overall, Celebrity does a good job..

This 60 year old would have been at the pool… I agree with you, choices are good and it’s one of the things I like about cruising on ships with these options.
