The ship is beautiful, sailed her this past January..booked again Jan of 2026 for a 10 day Southern Caribbean, SV... The crew was calling the Octopus "Ocho".. The night glitter party at the pool was my favorite, reminds me I need to step up my game on my outdoor sound system....they do a good job with the silent disco too.

Only difference is the Casino came into play at some point...I can't pass a craps table with action going on. 🙂 Thus I think I would be bored stiff on the large yachts people keep crowing about here. I'll charter my own boat in the Caribbean if I want to sail with 10 people. Choices are good..I do agree the Retreat is not for me...the Retreat Lounge reminds me of a Dr's waiting room...the pool/sundeck on the E class ships is nice...I have much more enjoyed my Yacht Club cruises over my Retreat cruises..the YC is just a more inviting area to me. Lounge/breakfast/lunch buffets by the pool are all very appealing to me.

I obviously didn’t venture far, I did see the zip line overhead…I guess my comments were based on comparing it to Coco Cay..our 5 day on Royal hit both of those ports on the short cruise..I enjoyed Labadee better…it also helped that we weren’t joined by an Oasis Class ship 2 hours after we arrived. I hope they are able to keep it safe..

Was in Nassau recently, no issues, lots of improvements at the port. I always like to venture out to the John Bull store..nice things I can’t afford.

Funny how folks view things differently…I never saw the vendor area, never looked for it either, had a very relaxing laid back beach day there on a Royal Cruise last May,,,drink package worked fine, hot dogs and burgers were set up under a pavilion…

Always better to be over dressed than not..I say go for it..I wore nice subtle black jacquard blazer a couple of times on my recent cruise on the Ascent…received a lot of compliments and it brought me some luck in the casino…I hadn’t packed a blazer in years..no tie though..

Recently off Ascent, SS 10201..not a peep.

Pretty sure all the away class mini suites are showers, nice ones at that. I don’t think I have taken a bath since I was 8.

I’ve priced Virgin a good bit, always higher for comparable balcony cabins per night with common amenities..enjoy, I’ve seen enough you tube videos to think it’s not for me..
